Happy Day 3 (Card 1) of the 2017 Spring Coffee Lover's BlogHop! and it continues on through to March 31st...so join us in this remarkable BlogHop with tons of Super/FLASH Sponsors. Go to the site and see the details for this hop...a fun time enjoyed by all.
For my first card today I'm using a free image from Jessica Lynn Original...there is an instant download HERE for this beautiful image. Jessica Lynn is one of the super/FLASH sponsor's for the 2017 Spring Coffee Lover's BlogHop...so stop on by, leave a note, browse her other images and create a project today.
This paper was given to me by a neighbor and friend ... I've been wanting to use it and thought immediately of a wood grain background and coordinating my colors to these colors...colored with Copic alcohol-based pens and I had a terrible time with them bleeding or leaking...but was able to hide it by cutting off the color and using the layer as the white outline.
Both doilies were die cut from the other Paper Pack, and adhered to card and image adhered on top with 3D thin foam tape...done.
When putting away my wood grain paper noted the beautiful floral on the other side and the coloring matched perfectly. Soooo. I die-cut another doily in the floral design paper, and instead of dismantling the card I just cut to fit under the image. I thought it was pretty before but this made it even prettier...and I was pleased with it.
