Paw Prints on Your Heart - H2H Aug Week 4

My DT card for Heart2Heart "Sweetness Overload" using the sketch from Try Stampin on Tuesday and the adorable stamp set from Little Acres.  

Don't usually use kraft too much, however, my daughter had used it in one of her cards wherein she had stamped several images, heat embossed in white and then colored...so that's where I started with my design for the background.  

One of my favorite colors is CTMH sweet leaf (green) so went through my design papers, and this design sheet was perfect and went so well against the kraft and die cut a panel with a scalloped edge for the center panel.  Stamped the pair of kitties and then began my coloring on the kraft paper using copic sketch pens in a variety of colors and matching up with the green.  Focal panel and kitties were popped up with 3D thin foam tape.  Done...and I think I just became a lover of kraft cardstock.

If I Had a Flower - Double Trouble Challenge #6

This is my DT card for Double Trouble Challenge #6 "Some Thing, Any Thing and Every Thing" and using the Little Acres Stamp Set "Lots of Poppies", which was a random draw prize from Little Acres Challenge back three months ago.  Each month for six months I get Happy Mail (current stamp set for that month) from Little Acres, and I still have three more months...the stamp is always a pleasant surprise.

Decided to make this card with very few layers because I didn't want to fussy-cut all the stems...so I stamped the field of poppies on the bottom edge of my white cardstock and colored them with a variety of Copic pens.  

Wasn't happy with them just being on the white cardstock and guess what, I fussy-cut another stamped item and used it to mask over the flowers.  Selecting a couple foliage stamps proceeded stamping lots of foliage in Pear, Sweet Leaf and Fern...very please with it.  On top sponged some blue and mink inks, stamped and colored the large poppy, stamped the sentiment in green leaf and added Momento London Fog because it was too light (closest to Mink).  

Popped up the large poppy and then stamped the same poppy field on the side border of the inside in Momento London Fog

Baby Girl

This is a baby card I made with another gift from Little Acres for their June "Summer" Challenge using the Balloon Alphabet. Stamped balloons and punny pals on white cardstock.  For the balloons used a flair type stamp in a variety of colors and stamped designs on balloons, cut on Brother's Scan and Cut, added another layer for a shadow behind stamps, put hole in balloon tag for twine attachment and adhered with thin foam tape for dimension.  The punny pals were colored with a variety of copic sketch pens and attached with thin foam tape.

We're The Perfect Blend - Little Acres

This card was made for the Little Acres Creations Challenge #1 "Anything Goes" using the adorable critter stamp set from Little Acres which was happy mail received for a random draw at the last Challenge and it doesn't end there.  Happy mail for the next five months of the featured stamp for each month.  How lucky am I? 

Using the 2018 Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's BlogHop theme, the floral frame was perfect and special too because my daughter gave me this frame which was included with a  very large stamp set and dies for Mother's Day.

Happy Spring - Pigments of Imagination

This card was made for Little Acres Creations Birthday Celebration using Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #449. Piglets are enjoying wallowing in hot chocolate...surely better than dirt. Stamped the splash of chocolate on white cardstock, colored, stamped sentiment, layered scene on cardstock and adhered to my floral background card base. Stamped the cute Piglets on white cardstock, colored, fussy-cut and adhered with 3D thin foam tape laying across the chocolate. Instead of a flower...die cut a teapot to place on the corner with 3D thin foam tape, drew in the stream of hot chocolate and applied liquid glass.

Also used liquid glass on the piglets eyes, snout, tail and hoofs. Colored over the lid on the teapot with gold and used CTMH glitter pen on both the piglets and teapot. On the inside of the card used another one of the Piglet stamps and bordered with the same plaid design paper used on the front.
