Back 2 Books "I'm a Big Kid Now" - Color Dare #358

This is my ColorMyHeart Color Dare Challenge #358 "Inspiration Photo". Oh my, what a fun time this was, but very time consuming because I used a lot of Cricut cuts which were pretty small (many were only 1" and for some there were many pieces and colors for one item). Wish I had done individual photos of each piece to show the detail but below are photos from the Cricut Design Space and approximate size of them.

This was my project for our last day of our Buffalo Crop back East and even though some thought I was crazy a lot of input and conversation was shared by all. Gave to one of the girls at the crop because she has a Big "Little Grand" Kid going back to School this Fall.

Color Dare #357

This is my DT card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #357 TicTacToe (3rd Column: Sage, Toffee, Sapphire + additional colors: Sugarplum, NE Ivy, Ballerina and Peach) combined with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #330.

Loved the sketch, just the way it was, so decided to select some flower dies and leaves for my focal point.  Used design papers for the flowers, and cardstock for my leaves and adhered with 3D thin foam tape. Panels were layered with Toffee cardstock.  Big Bold stamp of Thanks cut from sapphire cardstock and wanted to balance out that color so added a Butterfly at the top of the floral.

Double Trouble #36 - TicTacToe Joy of Sets

DT card for Double Trouble "Round & Round" partnering with Joy of Sets TicTacToe #008 (Bottom Row: Plaid, Red, School) and using the Try Stampin' of Tuesday Sketch #421. Off to Cricut Design Space for School images ... found a cute backpack and cut from plaid design paper for my focal point; but later decided to use in the inside of the card because I wanted a sentiment also.  The other two panels in the sketch were replace with row of books and two pencils.  Needed something in the upper r-h corner and these little apple Sprinkles were in the mail...perfect for my corner embellishment.

Was going to use this for my card front as my focal point but instead used it on the inside corner.

It's Your Special Day - Color Dare #356

This is my DT card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #356 combined with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #329.  My daughter's husband, Pat, and my son, David, purchased a cabin in Heber AZ (3 hours north of their homes) as their weekend retreat and man cave; but little do they know when this renovation is complete there just may be a small crop group periodically going up on a weekend.

This is a Birthday Card for my son-in-law.  He has a silver truck which will be filled with a number of tools they will need to start the renovation.  The accent colors "Sapphire" and "Mint" were selected because these are close to the colors they are using for the interior.

Found these cute sequins in my stash and they were ideal for hubcaps and the embellishments.  One of the saws was used for the sentiment.

Sorry I'm So Slow - Color Dare #355

This is my Design Team card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare Challenge #355 using the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #328. This was made for my Grand-daughter's 13th Birthday...she loves sloths and when I saw this stamp set it was an immediate purchase.  The goldrush leaf design paper was perfect background for the sloth hanging from the tree branch and the die cut leaf border was perfect for the scalloped edge and was complemented by the green polka-dot design paper.

The sloth was stamped, cut by the Brother Scan and Cut, colored using Copic Sketch alcohol-based brush pens colors closest to the CTMH colors, adhered with 3D thin foam tape and liquid glass was added to the eyes.  Sentiment was stamped with Espresso ink and NuVo drops placed randomly around the sentiment.

Another stamp of a sloth was colored and added to the inside right-hand corner of the card and room left for a personal note.
