TSOT Sketch #704 "A Note for You"

This is my Design Team project for Try a Sketch on Tuesday #704. I tried to use the Double Trouble 3--2-1 recipe "Sweet Surprise" but fell short of the aperture ingredient and was happy with the paw die as an image and also served for the replacement of the second shape. How cute are these images... so cute.

The pup choir was stamped, colored with Copic variable neutrals (except for the pop of the red collar), and fussy cut around the entire image. For a more dimensional look the poodle pup was fussy-cut along the lines between the front pups to adhere directly to the Kraft background paper while the front pups were added with foam tape.

For the borders top and bottom in the sketch were replacemed with music notes on the top and footprints on the bottom along with a fun sentiment.

Please hop on over to Try a Sketch On Tuesday, check out the Design Team's inspiration for this sketch and it may inspire you to share your interpretations of the sketch... hope to see you there.

You may want to hop on over to our sister challenge, Double Trouble to see if you have already met their 3-2-1 Recipe "Sweet Surprise" ingredients. If you have, you can enter the challenge and be eligible for random drawing chances... or maybe you just have to add an ingredient to meet the requirement. Hope to see you there.

and/or

Thing 2's Optional Dare using TSOT Sketch #704 for inspiration
TSOT's biweekly challenge starts on Tuesday, Sep 15th.

I included Twisted Sister's optional twist and added three layers of the aperture cut on yellow cardstock to create sunrays. Attached an adorable image to the front of the sunray aperture using thin foam tape for more dimension. The background die was perfect and gave me the inspiration to use TSOT Sketch 704 replacing the upper and lower border designs with clouds and grass prints.  My card will not be entered in TSOT challenge due to the backlinking rule.

Please hop on over and join us at Double Trouble, have fun with our 3-2-1 Recipe "Sweet Surprise" and play along with our optional twist and dare while earning additional chances to our random draw. Check out the Design Teams inspirations, optional twists and dare and let us see what you create... hope to see you there. Then hop on over to our sister challenge,Try a Sketch On Tuesday to check out the Design Teams inspiration, and you may want to consider using their sketch with our 3-2-1 recipe.
