Happy Annniversary - Color Dare #524 Triple Play

This is my Design Team card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare Challenge #524 "Triple Play" using all three colors. Pressed for time wanted to make a CAS card and when I saw the slimline design on Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #500 it was perfect for a CAS card and the color board.

Basically... Mist, Melon and Wisteria were all cut on the lighter side. Mist and Melon were torn on upper edge, glued to a full rectangle of Wisteria, bordered with the Wisteria darker color and adhered to the card base.

The florals were stamped with black ink on each of the colors on card base.  Three more were stamped using the dark side of each of the colors, flowers only were fussy-cut and adhered with thin foam dots on top of each of the flowers. Added the stamped dots alongside each floral and the sentiment at the bottom of card.

Please check out the inspiration from our Design Team and entrants and join us in this challenge.  Hope to see you there.

Thanks a Buschel - Double Trouble Challenge #126 "Scrapper's GORP"

This is my Design Team project for Double Trouble Challenge #126 "Scrapper's GORP" and my trail mix was plaid, stripes, checkers and dots.  Even used some GORP in Twisted Sister's optional twist to use the "paper piecing technique" on the little lady's clothing. We are partnering with Try Stampin' on Tuesday #584 and you can OPT to use their sketch, or not, but this is a perfect sketch for our Scrapper's GORP and meeting  Trouble Maker's requirement.

Crisp Air was the perfect paperpack to use for a Fall card and had a nice selection of pieces I need for my GORP.  All panels were cut to size and borderd with Pine cardstock and placed on the cardbase.    My little lady was so cute... and she too liked to wear a mixture of patterns.  There was a lot of little fussy-cutting, and lucky that I find that relaxing and fun. She was then placed on the pollka-dot patterned paper with 3D thin foam tape for dimension.  The sentiment was stamped directly on the background.

Special Notes:  Please note that Try Stampin' on Tuesday starts on Tuesday, Nov 22nd. If you post your project at Double Trouble on Monday, the 21st, you are still eligible to enter your project at TSOT. We are permitted to backlink for that Monday only. So be sure to visit again on Tuesday so you can post your card to the TSOT Challenge using the link provided above.

It's Not the Holidays withhout Cookies & Coffee - Color Dare #523

This is my card for Day 8 at the 2022 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop.

This is my DT card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare Challenge #523 "TicTacToe" using the CTMH paperpack "Freshly Baked" combined with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #499 and using a coffee theme to enter in the  2022 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop.  My TicTacToe choice was all colors, except for the metallic.

The sticker Sentiment from the "Freshly Baked" paperpack was perfect for the AHSC and for a coffee theme simply added "& Coffee" at the end and bordered with Scarlet cardstock. Selected the two patterned papers, bordered each with Toffee cardstock and adhered to card base.

The mocha coffee cup was found in my stash... colored, fussy-cut and adhered to the edge of the sentiment in place of the floral embellishment. Fussy-cut several of the sticker cookies and adhered them with 3D thin foam tape to a plate cut from a die using Toffee cardstock.

Don't forget Thing 1 (me) is asking you to join us at Double Trouble in participation with the 2022 Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  I'm getting the JITTERS FOR JAVA which MOCHA me crazy.  So get started... rise and GRIND, throw on a TEAshirt and sweats, grab a CUPPA your favorite and don't be LATTE.  Enjoy the CRAFTEINATING inspiration, hop along, stay GROUNDED and no ProCAFFEINATING.

Cheer

This is my card for Day 6 at the 2022 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop.

Had seen a couple cards with Brentwood in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and went to Jessica Lynn Original Studios to get the image... pleasant surprise, a freebie offered during the Blog Hop so you still have time to download, rcreat and add to your stock SVG fles.  Found a great sketch to display Brentwood with the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch Challenge #583.

Brentwood is such a great image for a masculine card. Keeping that in mind I went to my stash for complementary patterned papers that Brentwood would enjoy. Cut the required rectangles for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch.

Using white cardstock I copied and pasted svg Brentwood image four times and printed. Cut and colored the base layer in full, colored the full cup w/mashmallows, cup only and some of bells from each other printed image. These pieces were all fussy-cut and layered and adhered with 3D thin foam tape for dimension.  All panels were framed with a thin border of New England Ivy and then placed and adhered on card base.

For the little embellishment in the corner of the sentiment panel I decided to use more jingle bells, with some foliage and a red bow which finished off the sketch.  Brentwood makes me happy and he looks quite pleased with his colors.

Happiness Is YOU By My Side

This is my card for Day 5 at the 2022 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop.

Love my stash... found an image and card kit from Jenn Dove's Copic Class at a local Craft Shop long time ago which only needed a little touch up to complete the coloring. Used the checkered ribbon froom the card kit and made my own Christmas coffee themed layout.  Cut the image with an scalloped oval die and a border die from the same die set with chocolate cardstock.

The coffee themed patterned paper with cups and coffee beans were a good match of color for the background and the framed house mice.  This was then bordered with Chocolate cardstock and adhered to card base.  The sentiment chosen was a good fit for the house mice and printed partially on the focal point with the bolder part of sentiment on the r-h corner directly on the patterned paper.

Peppermint Spice & Everything Nice

This is my card for Day 4 at the 2022 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop.

Again going to my stash to look for some images from Jenn Dove's Bootcamp from December 2021.  Pulled out this adorable Gingerbread Man image from Whimsy, and actually the coloring was completed unlike the two previous... and a special time-saving find from my stash. The image was fussy-cut and set aside to go through stash again for a good match of patterned paper.

The patterned paper reminded me of peppermint candies and a good match for the candy cane.  Die cut a cup using the same design paper and a second cut in nutmeg cardstock. Used the patterned paper on the sleeve and the cover of the cup and adhered to an oval frame and then to the background patterned paper. This was then bordered with Candy Apple cardstock and adhered to card base.  The sentiment was selected for the flavored coffee and candies.

From Our House To Your House - Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

This is my card for Day 3 at the 2022 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop and also sharing in the "Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #11" to include at least one holly element.

Once again going to my stash to look for some images from Jenn Dove's Bootcamp from December 2021.  Pulled out this adorable Mouse image from Whimsy, partially colored... another perfect find from my stash. So I pulled out my Boot Camp Notebook and obtained the colors needed to complete the coloring. Added a handle to the tree holder to look like a cup of coffee or tea.  The image was cut for a rectangular frame and partially fussy-cut the mouse's head to hang over the side, added a Candy Apple border and adhered to the patterned paper.

Found a nice match of colors in my stash of patterened papers using both sides... one cut with a border die and the other to fit the rest of the card base.  I used the strip from the border cut and adhered it to the r-h side of card just because it softened up the cut and used Candy Apple cardstock for border and adhered to card base.

Double Trouble Challenge #125A "DeJa-BREW" Mochachocalovyoualatte

This is my Design Team card for our Double Trouble "DeJa-BREW" participating with Day 1 at the 2022 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop and also sharing in the "Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #11" to include at least one holly element.

Once again going to my stash to look for some images from Jenn Dove's Bootcamp from December 2021.  Pulled out this adorable moose or deer image from Whimsy, partially colored, and it included holly... a perfect find from my stash. So I pulled out my Boot Camp Notebook and obtained the colors needed to complete the coloring. It's a lot easier to follow the instructions at Boot Camp on shadowing and shading; but I think I managed it through the photo. Finished it off with white gel pen for highlights.

I die cut a teeny weeny cocoa cup my daughter gifted me, adhered with foam tape on the hand of the critter, drew some steam with a black Copic Multi-liner and then bordered the image with Ruby cardstock.  Again back to my stash for the a good match of colors for my image and background... found and used both sides of pattererned paper, cutting diagonally, used Ruby cardstock border and adhered to card base.
