Hey - Double Trouble Challenge #48 with AHSC

Here is my DT Card for Double Trouble Challenge #48 "Say Cheese", something to make you smile with Twisted Sister's Optional Twist "comfort food" and using the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #352.

Circle Die was cut in the center of the Cranberry background and then the two spotlight cuts were made from a collage die, a patterned paper was placed in the back of the cranberry panel and then layered to Honey Cardstock and adhered to my card base.

The Drive Thru cuts (cheeseburger, fries and drink) were cut with different colors of cardstock and pieces layered and finished foods were then adhered to the circle with 3D thin foam tape for dimension.  Sentiment was cut two times in the cranberry cardstock and adhered to background.

Please visit Double Trouble and see DT members' inspirations, along with other participants that have entered this challenge.  Join us in this fun challenge. Our theme is "Say Cheese" and this challenge begins Monday, January 20th, and closes on Sunday, February 2nd. For more detail go to Double Trouble Challenge #48.  And don't forget if you used the Atlantic Hearts sketch, enter in their challenge as well.

Coffee & Poinsettias

This card was made using the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #433.  A number of dies were used for this card, layered and adhered with 3D Foam Tape and Thin Foam Sheets for dimension.  The background red and white striped design paper was embossed and backed with a cranberry layer.  The Coffee sentiment was used instead of foliage.

May Your Coffee Be Strong and Your Mondays Be Short

From a local scrapbook store found a 12x12 cardstock with 12 printed Coffee Sentiments "Adorn It - Coffee Time Printables ... this is one of the Printables which were colored with Copic alcohol-based pens.  After coloring, sponged on some of CTMH Colonial White pigment ink to soften the white background matching better with the background paper chosen.  Added a holly branch to balance out the card.

I Like You More than Hot Chocolate

Another Winter Coffee Lover's BlogHop project using the Merry Monday Christmas "Color Challenge" choosing colors Red, Pink and Green and an adorable digital from Craftin' Desert Diva "Ginger Cocoa Peeker".  Easy image to color, and swirled some Nuvo crystal drops on the whipped cream to give it texture.  Cut two stitched circular frames and used the negative as layers behind the Gingerbread and added the sentiment.

Happy Hot Chocolate Day

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2017/12/2017-winter-coffee-lovers-blog-hop-2/Day 5 A.M. - Winter Coffee Lovers Blog-Hop

This is one of the images I colored while attending a Copic Card Class here in Phoenix. Nothing like Hot Chocolate or Coffee with cinnamon or peppermint sticks when the snow is flying and gingerbread cookies baking in the oven.

Back in the 1960's, my coffee breaks consisted of hot chocolate and pastry while others enjoyed their morning coffee.  In my mid twenties I thought it was time I changed over to coffee and be a grown-up...thus now a coffee lover.

Mugs and Kisses

While going through my stash I came across this adorable teddy bear and thought how cute would he look surrounded by polka dots, a theme at The Outlawz.  Amy provided me with the link below and posted on Facebook...and Sonya, the artist, had used polka dots also.  So, all I can say, keep your prints, who knows you may use them a couple years later.
