These were great colors to use for a Spring Card and with the Coffee Blog in process chose to do a tea card.  Since there was a little flower stamp incuded in the Tea-rrific CTMH Stamp set decided to stamp the colors in the challenge on white daisy cardstock for a personalized stamped background.

Stamped, colored and fussy-cut the teacup, flower and tea bag...layered and adhered to background with 3D Thin Foam Tape, lining up the floral on the cup with the background paper.  Stamped sentiment in lagoon ink and layered on tangerine cardstock.

Inside twist:  Lots of layered cups.

Inspiration - Paper Sweeties Challenge for March "Anything Goes" Paper Sweeties is one of the super/FLASH sponsor's, for the 2017 Spring Coffee Lover's BlogHop. For my card today I'm using a combination of stamps from CTMH and Paper Sweeties...stop on by, leave a note, browse the blog for other challenges and view the products.

There was a freebie digital on Stamplorations Blog which I was going to color ... however instead decided to use it as an inspiration for my card.  Here is the digital.

Kept my inks and stamps busy and did a lot of masking to create the floral background. Stamped several of the teacups and teapot from Paper Sweeties, colored, fussy-cut and temporarily placed randomly on the background until satisfied with the layout.  I made slits in my floral sheet, slipped in the teacups and teapot and adhered them with 3D thin foam tape. Still needed something...so sought out a stamp with a small butterfly and dragonfly. Stamped with color inks, fussy-cut and placed these randomly on the background with 3D foam tape.  Sentiment was added and card was complete.

A couple phot0s of close-ups of the detail of the stamping and adhering to card base.

Just wanted to do a fun card with spring colors so decided on and wanted something very colorful like spring flowers without using flowers.  The Balloons were in my stash, along with scraps of Kaleidoscope design paper.  Die cut the carry-out cup of coffee from design paper, fussy-cut a few donuts from another design paper, and stamped sentiment.  Played around with the pieces until satisfied with the layout, then adhered with 3D thin foam tape.

Craftin' Desert Diva's is one of the super/FLASH sponsor's, for the 2017 Spring Coffee Lover's BlogHop. My card has been entered in Craftin' Desert Diva's Gallery on Facebook for the March Monthly Challenge.

Printed digital larger to take up a lot of space on an A2 card ... image cut by the Brother Scan and Cut, then fussy-cut around the handle and basket for the window of a shaker card. Drew a weave on the body of the basket and scribbled lines for the wood affect on the handle, base and top of basket.  Used a combination of Copic and ShinHan alcohol-based pens with a variety of colors.  The shaker was filled with brown sequins mixed with a few turquoise and silver sequins to brighten it up.

The sentiment was a combination "Chocolate" from a stamp set which was stamped on the basket, and then the "Where's My Coffee ... " typed with Micro-Soft Word, printed and framed with tangerine cardstock.

Paper Smooches - March 3017 Challenge "Greenery"  For my card today I'm using an assortment of dies and stamps from Paper Smooches ... so stop on by, leave a note, browse the blog for other challenges and view the products.

Pretty much knew what was needed to cut and stamp...just had to figure out how to lay them out.  Originally had a couple clouds cut but then thought why not use a stitched clove. Curved the Sentiment so that it would fit better on the card. Heat embossed in gold the sentiment and the gold on the pot.  Cut the Cozy Cup die in plain cardstock and a design paper and pieced them together.  The rainbow cut just matched up coincidentally with the cup.

Had purchased this digital last year from Lacey Sunshine Stamps for a Coffee Lover's BlogHop but never got to coloring and planning a layout for it.  So... Froggy "Pickles" just sprung into the 2017 Spring Coffee Lover's BlogHop.  Love the cartoonish background colors, but brought in the brighter spring colors in the cups...after all just coming out of Winter anything looks like Spring. Well, maybe not here in Arizona.

Pickles was fun to color and just added some oval die cuts, stitched borders and a couple sentiments that seemed to fit the Tea Party...so springing off to the 2017 BlogHop.

Right on Cue - AHSC #205

My card this week as Design Team Member for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #205. Join this challenge...you have until Sunday, April 2nd to enter your project.

The design team reveal for this sketch will be on Wednesdays, so be sure to stop by to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team and other entrant inspirations for this challenge...and stop by every Monday for new sketches.  Don't wait for the DT post to create your project...show us up with your artwork.

Well, look at this sketch...I showed it to my husband and asked him what it looked like...first he said balloons and then he said billiard balls.  He used to be a fanatic with pool in his younger days...our Community Club House has several pool tables so I thought he might take it up again.  Wrong, only played once and we've been here 11 years.  My initial thought was also cue balls so off to Cricut Design Space.

Modified the 8 Ball and used some stitched number dies...and looked on computer to make sure I had the right colors for the right numbers...yes, I'm weird, but in my younger days I also played pool but couldn't remember the colors, just stripes and solids.  And the Poppy Paper Fundamentals was so cool as a background.

Now, there isn't much on sentiments for a Billiard Ball card...but did find advertising themes of "Rack 'Em" "Love is right on Cue" so designed my own sentiment in Design Space and chose "Right on Cue" and then had a Happy Birthday Border Die...and it seemed to rhyme. I thought I was pretty clever and happy with the results...

but who this goes to...who knows.  If anyone has a hubby or friend that plays pool, it's yours...just show in comments where to mail it to.

On the inside I just added a Ram Bubble and an extra cue ball cut before deciding on the background paper.

Seen a lot of the Tea-rrific SOTM cards this month and what better then to use Dreamin' Big paper pack.  Also used the same sketch previously used at an earlier challenge and changed it up a bit by using the SOTM Tea-rrific stamp set.

The inside of the card stamped with other images from the same stamp set....cups were masked so each cup had a different color, and then stamped border with the flower stamp.
