DTC #152 - Participating with Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop - Day 3

Join us at Double Trouble Challenge #152 and hop on by and enjoy the CRAFTEINATING inspiration by our Design Team and entrants. This card was inspired by the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #630 and include their theme a "Warm Drink".

DTC DeJa-Brew is participating with 2023 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop and here is my Coffee themed card for Day 3.

The to-go-cup was stamped with black ink, colored with Copic brush pens in a variety of colors, fussy-cut and set aside... notice there is a holly on the to-go-cup. Using the pine patterned paper an oval scalloped die was used for the circular background of the sketch, adhered to the plaid, edges and corners cut and layered with a pine cardstock and applied to the card base.

Another two pieces of plaid was cut as to place the to-go-cup... cut off lid, rounded the cup using 3D thin and regular foam tape and adhered to the plaid coaster.  Used foam tape on back of the lid and overlaped a smidgen of the lid over the to-go-cup. Finished with a sentiment using black ink directly on the plaid background in the bottom corner .

On the inside R-H border of the card base adhered a strip of each of the same patterned papers used for the front of the card.

Hope to see you at Double Trouble "DeJa-BREW" and win another chance at our random draw if you have entered your coffee themed project at the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop... and add a funny pun on your project for another chance.

DTC #152 - Participating with Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop - Day 2

Join us at Double Trouble Challeng #152 "DeJa-Brew" and hop on by and enjoy the CRAFTEINATING inspiration by our Design Team and entrants. As a previous winner at Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmaker my prize primarily included a Santa stamp set and paperpack which inspired this card and Sketch #39 was perfect for the Santa stamp.

DTC is participating with 2023 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop and here is my Coffee themed card for Day 2.

Another PERK?  If you have included at least one Holly element on a Christmas coffee  theme card, you can also enter the Coffee Lover's challenge at "Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #23"
This was a fun card to put together in meeting all the requirements of the three challenges and my Design Team card for our Double Trouble challenge.

The North Pole map and swirly sky patterned papers were perfect for Santa's lift off and were adhered to Candy Apple cardstock. My new die "stitched border strips" were cut with same cardstock and used for separation of the panels in sketch. Sentiment stamped direct on background with black Memento ink.

Stamped the Santa in Sleigh using black ink, stamped coffee beans on Santa's bag, colored with a variety of colors using Copic Sketch brush pens, fussy-cut around Santa and sleigh,  and cut image to separate Santa's bag.

Santa wanted a large coffee because it was going to be a long night...  so I slit along the sleigh line to place a cup.  Cut a To-Go-Cup, stamped a Holly, colored, adhered with foam tape between the sleigh and Santa.  Santa and sleigh were lined up with Santa's bag... bag adhered direct to background and sleigh adhered with 3D thin foam tape for additional dimension.  For additional embellishment added liquid glass to the bells on sleigh and Santa's nose.  Photos below will show the dimension, embellishment and inside of card using left-over patterned paper.

Double Trouble #115 "Christmas in July" partnering with Color Dare #503

This is my Design Team card for Double Trouble Challenge #115 "Christmas in July" and teaming up with ColorMyHeart Color Dare #503 "Crazy 8" Color Board below.

ColorMyHeart Color Dare "Crazy 8" Board rules: Simply pick any four of the eight blocks. Color names are CTMH and are only for reference; but you are welcome to use any products as long as the colors are the closest match. If you want to use additional blocks, it's your choice as long as you use only blocks included in the Square. Free to use are Black, White, Gold, and Silver, which can be used in addition to your four chosen blocks.

My 4 Blocks were Candy Apple, New England Ivy, Avocado and Flower(s) theme to make my Christmas card.

Blended New England Ivy and Pear (substituted for Avocado) inks on Daisy White cardstock for my background. Stamped with Daisy White Ink one of the larger poinsettias stamps and then heat embossed with red. Layered the other larger poinsettia stamp on top and with same procedure of heat embossing.

The two smaller poinsettias were stamped using the same embossing procedure.  The fern stamps were added randomly among the poinsettias and heat embossed with gold.  The poinsettias didn't seem to stand out so I took a gold uni-ball pen and outlined and filled in the detail of each poinsettia. Took the same gold pen and just added dots to the background.

Sentiment was stamped with New England ink on white cardstock, blended in the two greens to match the background and adhered with 3D thin foam tape.
