I Have Too Much Washi (said no one ever)

2019 Spring / Summer Coffee Lovers BlogHop

Thank you Amy, Design Team for your inspiration, work and dedication for another amazing and awesome Coffee Lover's BlogHop and providing such an overwhelming array of some 80 Super Sponsors in support of your BlogHop. 

This coffee card was made using the Heart2Heart theme for National Scrapbooking Month in celebration paper crafting. First thing in the morning to start my day, a cup of coffee, and then off to the scrapbook room.  Picking up a cute scrapbook stamp set there was a sentiment on "I have too much Washi (said no one ever)".  What a great idea, washi tape, so decided to make a background out my washi tape and mount a coffee cup with scrapbook items.  Added steam in vellum and black cuts and sentiment "Great Ideas Start with Coffee" how appropriate is that?

Paper Sweeties - May Inspiration

I was invited to be Guest Design for Paper Sweeties May Inspirational Challenge #55.  

Flowers, buttons, jars, books and watercoloring was my inspiration from this photo. I chose to go with flowers because this weekend had just purchased some background watercoloring design paper and thought that would be a nice blending for the flowers and hearts.  Also purchased a single sheet for the next Coffee Lovers BlogHop with "Tealightfuls" , 2" square sentiments, but the other side was perfect for my background paper.  

Did a lot of stamping and cutting and then put it altogether on the background paper curling edges and then adhering with 3D Thin Foam tape.  Added a few sequins and tried a raised sentiment but didn't like it so decided to stamp the sentiment right on the background...so out came my Misti for accuracy, placing and stamping until the sentiment was bold enough. Love my Misti.
