Here is my Design Team Card for Double Trouble Challenge #102 "Something, Anything, Everything" and using Twisted Sister's "Anything But an A2 Card". Don't let these photos fool you... this is just one card (a Tri Fold Mini Slimline).
My New Year's resolution again was to use some of the stamps sets in my stash that had never been used. Well, it was in my stash but only since Christmas as again my friend/neighbor gave to me the mouse stamp set as a gift... and it was so cute I had to use it for this challenge.
Card Front: Used stencils to create my clouds, grass and stone path. The door was personally drawn. The mice were stamped, colored with copic pens, fussy-cut and using only the first three mice from the Conga Line and adhered with 3D thin foam tape. Unfortunately this was the second card front because after I finished the card I accidentally set it on an open ink pad and it had Memento ink across some of the sky and the mice. Usually a little ink smudge could be corrected without doing the whole card; however this was not the case. I was able to cut around the door and grass, adhere to another card base with a new sky. The mice were again stamped, fussy-cut, colored and then adhered with thin 3D foam tape.
Back of Tri-Fold Scene: This scene had been created directly on the card base using the same stencils. The last two mice at the end of the Conga Line, which had been previously colored and fussy-cut were then adhered with 3D thin foam tape. The wagon is a printed image from the internet, fussy cut and adhered with 3D thin foam tape. The cupcakes were stamped using the masking technique to create a dimensional image of a pile of cupcakes for the wagon, colored, fussy-cut and adhered with 3D thin foam tape for more dimension. To move this to my new cardbase... simply cut the Tri Fold a little smaller and adhered.
Let's Celebrate Your Birthday Scene: Decided to use a design paper with Confetti and stamped several images and colored with copic pens... a banner, row of balloons and sentiment. The cupcakes were stamped again using the masking technique. Balloon strings were drawn and attached to the sentiment with a black multi-liner pen and then adhered to the card base.
Happy Dance Celebration Scene: Using the Confetti design paper once again, stamped the full Conga line directly on the paper, colored the images with same colors as the two scenes and adhered to the card base.
The Confetti design paper really pulled in the Party Celebration.
This is just another photo to show that the card was a Tri Fold and how it brought the one Conga Line into the two scenes and then the full Conga Line on the inside of the Tri Fold. My creativity ran wild; and well worth the amount of time spent on it... I was very happy with the result and joined in the Conga Line... hope you do too.
