Double Trouble 98 "Something, Anything, Everything" - Thinking of You

This is my Design Team Card for Double Trouble Challenge #98 "Something, Anything, Everything" using the Atlantic Hearts Sketch #449 and the Color My Heart Color Dare #472. My selection of colors were all colors except silver and gold.

Twisted Sister's optional twist is on YOU.  C
hoose at least one element from Twisted Sister's card and include it on your project! Using the Atlantic Hearts Sketch helped me to include quite a few of the elements on my project i.e.embossing, plaid, banner, black dots and Cookie colors on cactus.  Tell us what you selected as YOUR TWIST in your post description.
Started my card using an embossed background in Rosemary cardstock and layered with Sapphire.  Cut the center panel with a plaid and layered again with Sapphire cardstock.  Instead of the rectangle from the sketch... used a AZ State stamp on design paper, stamped a flower and wrote Buckeye (where I reside) and fussy cut.  Using the thin cut for AZ State was cut with Sapphire cardstock for a shadow. Then for the focal point stamped a cactus and colored with Copic brush pens closest match to the colors Rosemary, Papaya, and Sundance. Fussy cut the cactus and adhered to the AZ State.  Adding sentiment on a banner die cut, brushed edge with Sapphire ink and adhered peeking out of the AZ State and added black dots to the upper right-hand corner of card.

You're Special - Color Dare #472 Crazy 8

This is my Design Team card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #472 "Crazy 8".  All you need do is choose four blocks of color.  CTMH Mix-In X9034 paperpack was perfect for colors needed and Try Stampin' on Tuesday #534 a great sketch for patterned papers. Three Design papers were chosen in Papaya, Wisteria and Sundance and adhered to a layer of Mink cardstock.

The tag was cut using Mink and the images from a sticker sheet in the CTMH "Every Little Thing" paperpack (a flower and a butterfly).  These stickers were colored using the same colors as the patterned papers, fussy-cut and adhered to tag with 3D foam tape.  Sentiment and bow were added to the tag and adhered to the background papers.  Placement of white dots were put in the bottom right-hand corner to complete my card.

Color Dare challenges are carried forward for two weeks so if you didn't share a project for this Inspiration Photo challenge you still have another week to enter.

Both challenges are on the side bar of the Color My Heart Color Dare challenge blog. Please check out Design Team Cards and other entrants to give you inspiration and join us for future fun color challenges.

Just For You - Color Dare #471

This is my Design Team card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #471 and using the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch Challenge #533.  And this is the last day of the Blog Hop "Just for You".  Thank you Amy and Design Team for your dedication and hard work in another Fall/Winter Season... already looking for the Spring/Summer.

When I looked at the 3 colors it brought to mind the CTMH paper Packs "Love Story" in Black and Mink.  They both had a great choice of design patterns to choose from and my choice of + one color (Blue) which is striking with greys and blacks.

On the sticker sheet there was a small black and white floral... the sticker was a little bit smaller than the cup, but it worked.  Adhered the floral to white cardstock, die cut the cup, colored the flowers using three shades of blue and the leaves in greys.

Now the choices of the design papers for the other panels on sketch. The larger background was a simple design paper so as not to take away from the pretty floral cup.  Cup was layered with 3D thin foam tape on the sides and the middle doubled to allow a rounded dimension of the cup.

Used the lacey zip strip for a doily affect and then added a black design paper between them and placed the bow in the middle of the side panel.  The cup also had a metal die for the coffee/tea steam and just matched that up with the paper used on the side panel.  The sentiment die cut and added to upper right-hand corner.

Christmas Card using TSOT Sketch

This is my card made for the 2021 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop and using the Try Stampin' on Tuesday's Sketch #532 with theme from Heart2Heart "Oh Dear".

The sketch is CAS so kept pretty much to the sketch as one I hade made previously.  I love the mix of patterns... so my choice of design papers were a holly background with two other patterns from the same paperpack, layered each with Harbour cardstock and adhered to card base.

Chose to change the tab to a cute a To Go Cup... pieced from one cut of design paper and the other with Toffee cardstock.  A sentiment was stamped, edged with Toffee Ink and adhered with 3D thin foam tape.  On the inside add two zip strips along the border.

DOUBLE TROUBLE PERKS... In addition to our normal random draw prize, we have included Blog Candy in Things 1, 2, and 3.  As long as you have entered a project using Thing 1's requirement "Coffee Theme", simply comment on their Blogs and you are eligible for a randomly drawn prize from those that you have commented on.

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall - I Like Coffee BEST of all

This card was made for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop using white cardstock and stamping To Go Cups and sprinkles randomly, colored with with variety of Copic pens, layered with Toffee and adhered to card base. My initial thought was to use a donut image with sprinkles; however, there was a sentiment on the same stamp set that was, of course, perfect for my background.

Cut a square stitched frame in Toffee. Cut a second stitched frame in white cardstock and stamped on sentiment with Toffee Ink and adhered to the Toffee stitched frame with 3D thin foam tape for dimension.

Happy Pumpkin Season

Day 5 - 2021 Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop

As I was settling down in my Craft Room, drinking my pumpkin spice coffee and looking at the CTMH Pumpkin Treats for my next Coffee Lovers card... I remembered a Gel Press background I did at my daughter's awhile ago and it shouted out pumpkin spice. When I pulled it from my stash I was mesmerized and had to very studiously select what part of this gel press background I was going to use.  I was attracted to the large spot of orange so cut my A2 card size to include this spot on the edge so that it wouldn't be covered with images.

The To Go Cup was stamped on a textured tan cardstock, colored in coffee at the top of the cup and fussy-cut.  The sleeve was stamped with orange, fussy cut and adhered to cup.  Used the thin die to cut another To Go Cup in black and adhered to the back of the tan cup as a shadow and adhered with 3D thin foam tape for dimension on background.

The pumpkin pie was stamped on colonial white cardstock, 3 times, colored with Copic pens, fussy-cut each of the layers, pieced and glued the three layers and adhered to background with 3D thin foam tape.  Sentiment was stamped several times in the Misti with Black Ink and black dots were placed in two of the corners.

Used one of the pieces cut off from the original gel press background, layered it with black cardstock and adhered to the inside border of card.

Double Trouble Challenge #97B - "Peek-a-Boo" partnering with Try Stampin' on Tuesday

Here is my DT card for Double Trouble #97B "Peek-A-Boo" and including Twisted Sister's Optional Twist to use the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #533 (Flipped Vertical) and chose to use a coffee and chocolate theme.  By using the coffee theme I'm able to enter my card at the 2021 Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop and Coffee Lover's Cardmakers - Caffeine Fueled Paper.

The cut for the Peek-a-Boo card is very simple, but the planning of what you want to do from front to inside took me some time to put it all together.  Many ideas crossed my mind and changes made along the way until satisfied with the result.  I could probably write a book on all the thoughts and changes but I'm keeping it simple by just giving you the ingredients down below of my choices of putting this card together including the tutorial.

I will mention a couple things... I forgot about finishing off the TSOT's sketch and almost missed the panel and twine on the left-hand side; however, I was able improvise by stamping a lot of sprinkles, adding the perfect pink twine and even went above my comfort zone to make a tiny bow.  The second thing was a sentiment that I wanted for the inside... it took me three stamp sets and partial words to create "And a Little Chocolate".

2021 Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop

Day 3 - 2021 Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop

My card was created using the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #351 with an optional twist for vintage or modern, choosing Vintage.

Normally my comfort zone is not vintage but while going through my coffee stash found a 3D Push Out vintage look Teapot which could be used for the circle in the sketch.  The doily was cut using vellum for another vintage look.  The teapot included three layers... the first layer was placed on the doily, and the next two layers were adhered with 3D thin foam tape for dimension.

Now for the vintage background.  Again, from my stash I knew I had several 6 x 6 vintage paper packets that were gathering dust... all that needed to be done was to find papers that complemented my 3D teapot.  Cut the required panels, brushed the edges with Heather ink, and adhered to card base.  The one panel was cut using a border die.  Stamped the sentiment in the bottom right-hand corner and then adhered the assembled doily with teapot  on the scalloped panel.

Thanks a Latte - Double Trouble Challenge #97-A participating in the 2021 Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "Rise and GRIND, throw on a TEAshirt and sweats, grab your MUG and search through your stash for CrAFFIENATING Coffee, Tea, and Cocoa favorites (papers, stamps, dies, stencils, folders, etc).  Keep GROUNDED, no ProCAFFEINATING, and create a Coffee Lover's project using any theme. Here is my FIRST card."

This is my card for the Double Trouble "DeJa-Brew" kicking off the start of the 2021 Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog Hop and using Twisted Sister's Optional Twist to use the Try Stampin' on Tuesday's Sketch #532.

The sketch is CAS so kept pretty much to the sketch.  I love the mix of patterns... so my choice of design papers were a Toffee striped background with two other patterns in Glacier, layered each with Toffee cardstock and adhered to card base.

Chose to change the tab to a cute little Hedgehog... stamped and colored with Copic pens in Browns and Glacier for the scarf. Stamped a second Hedgehog, colored the scarf only, fussy-cut and adhered with 3D thin foam tape for dimension.  Stamped and colored the Coffee To Go Cup and adhered with glue between the paws. A sentiment was stamped, edged with Toffee Ink and adhered with 3D thin foam tape.  On the inside stamped several To Go Cups along border.
