Here is my interpretation of Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #390 using one of the design papers from Every Little Thing for the background of the Butterfly. The frames were Mixed Edge Rectangle dies which were cut alternating Julep and Wisteria cardstock.
Just purchased this beautiful butterfly die and chose to use this as the focal point instead of a floral. Three butterflies were cut using Wisteria, light and dark side, and another in White Daisy to layer with the lighter Wisteria. The dark Wisteria butterfly was adhered directly to the background for a shadow, and the lighter one was adhered with glue to the body of the butterfly, leaving the wings free. Sentiment was cut from Wisteria, light and dark, and adhered offset for a shadow. Gems, bitty sparkles and glitter were added to butterfly and gems to the bottom right-hand corner.

Oh, so pretty, Sue! Beautiful colors. (I am going to try to get a card posted to AHSC today. It's been unfinished on my desk all week.)
