"Happy Birthday" AHSC Challenge #171

This is my first Card as a Design Team Member for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #171, which was combined with the challenge Between The Folds (BTF Challenges) "using a CTMH die-cut, thin die-cut or hand-cut". Viewing the sketch...this was not a hard decision for which die-cut I was going to use.

Please check out the other Design Team Members inspirations, and join us at AHSC...you have until Sunday, August 7th to enter your project.

Die-cut on Cricut using the Design Paper from Happy Times...and also used the Design Paper piece wherein I cut the frame, sized the background to card size and adhered to white cardstock. Cut a couple more frames for layering, added lagoon cardstock behind the corner flairs, adhered frames to each other and used thin foam to adhere to card.

Using the center oval from the frame...stamped the floral bouquet assortment, distressed the edges and sponged oval with lagoon ink, adhered to card base in frame.

Sentiment was stamped in lagoon ink, fussy-cut, layered with lagoon cardstock and fussy-cut.  In my stash I found a butterfly previously cut and added  on oval instead of a bow.

The inside of this card was stamped with the same flowers on the front of the card and added some screening along the side border.

My favourite colour... I love what you did with this stamp set and the wood grain paper - and it didn't slip past me how carefully you lined up the cut out panel in front with the background piece behind... that's hard to get exactly right! So glad we are on the same DT now :) Congratulations! You are such an inspiration!

What a gorgeous card. You know I love anything made with blue-green colors and this Lagoon card is fabulous.
