Spring/Easter - AHSC #203

My card this week as Design Team Member for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #203. Join this challenge...you have until Sunday, March 19th to enter your project.

The design team reveal for this sketch will be on Wednesdays, so be sure to stop by to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team and other entrant inspirations for this challenge...and stop by every Monday for new sketches.

Started to make an easel card for The Outlawz; however, it was taking me so much time on how to do it, I decided to do a shaker card instead.  Love the Doodlebug Easter Express paper pack and it wasn't difficult to bring the two designs together.  Instead of a flower I chose to put this adorable chick in the bottom corner from Paper Smooches.

When visiting Paper Smooches blog to see if I could post this card, I came across  Virtual Smooches Give-a-way.  Virtual Smooches works in partnership with Paper Smooches and does tutorials for them relative to their products.  It's a great site to get new and old and techniques.  If you are inspired by one of the tutorials you can enter your project at Inspired By Virtual Smooches by Savanah O'Gwynn.   Viewed three shaker card tutorials "Shaker (2)" and "Shaker Card".

  2. Such a cute spring-y card. I love how the sequins inside the shaker are spread out and not all at the bottom. The yellow chick is adorable.
