Any Occasion - H2H March Wk 1

Please join us this week and other challenges in March AND remember you have all month to create to be eligible for recognition of the Top 10 "Challenge Darling" ... and if you create for each challenge in the month for perfect attendance you will be recognized as an H2H Addict.  For additional inspiration ... hop on by to see all the DT members' and participant creations for this month and join us with your projects.

I am hostess for this week, Team A, Emerald...hope to see you participate.  I took the easy way and decided to use the Dreamin' Big CTMH PaperPack.  However, this challenge is open to  your interpretation any way you like...if you can dream it, you can do it.

Chose my background design paper and then cut another design paper centering the Scalloped Stitched Oval die on the floral design paper and then adhered with 3D thin foam tape to background.  The scalloped frame was glued to the background panel and three of the flowers on the bottom of the frame were fussy cut from the negative and pieced together and glued.  The butterfly was die-cut with two different design papers, one to create a shadow and the other to layer on top and bone curled the wings.

Couldn't decide on a Sentiment or where to put it, so decided to leave it open for a future note card or future occasion.  The inside was decorated with one of my die-cuts using the floral design paper, which was going to be used on the front of the card, but decided it wasn't what I wanted...however, it made a perfect border on the inside of the card.

Flowers and a butterfly - so classic and lovely!

Sometimes simple is best - a sentiment can always be added inside later if you decide to do that. The paper speaks for itself. Beautiful simple design.
