This is my Design Team project for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #576 "Six Pack" which matched the colors in the CTMH Paperpack "Evergreen". Still need to finish up with my Christmas cards and thought that Try Stampin' on Tuesday had a great sketch for this paperpack. And didn't realize until writing my post that tree was the optional twist.
The CTMH stamp set "Happy Pawlidays" is so cute and loved the grumpy Kitty. A lot of patterned papers were used in this card and they all seemed to go together. My first attempt at coloring Kitty was using a Pine color Copic which I had already glued down to my card; but it was too dark. Sooo... I stamped another Grouchy Kitty on a sage patterned paper, fussy-cut the tree only, carved out the face and layered on top of the first Kitty to add dimension.
Kitty still didn't look very happy with her glitter, but them mouse appeared happy with the glitter scarf, or was it the candy cane. On the inside border a strip of the same background paper was adhered.

Suzanne, a perfect card for a grumpy kitty... they always seem to get up into the holiday trees and cause havoc! You did a great job recovering after you changed your mind on the tree color!! OMG, the look on kitty's face is hysterical! Thanks for the giggle. Punny sentiment, kitty & mouse make the card adorable. But all the papers make it pretty as well.
