Tickled Pink for You - Double Trouble Challenge #144 "Woody" partner with FarmQuest "Pig(s)

Here is my Design Team card for Double Trouble Challenge #144 "Woody" with requirement to use woodgrain and opted to use Twisted Sister's Twist to "include a Piggy" which is a requirement for FarmQuest Challenge #33 "Pigs".  The Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #616 was perfect for woodgrain and instead of a circle used a square frame and even included their twist behind the floral "a summer drink" behind the floral. The ColorMyHeart Color Dare Challenge #558 "TicTacToe" had great choices and my choice was to use Row 1: Melon, Sundance, Sage + Capri).

The background was my woodgrain requirement... smudged edges with Nutmeg ink taking on a barn texture and added a small border of melon cardstock also smudged. The banners were two patterned papers, with woodgrain strip between each, smudged edges with Nutmeg and adhered direct to my woodgrain background.

The frame for piggy was cut with same woodgrain as background in a different direction, and another panel cut for the background of the frame in same direction as background.

A lot of fussy coloring and fussy-cutting... piggy, flowers and cup using Copic Sketch Brushes in colors closest to Melon, Sundance, Sage and Capri and adhered in frame with 3D thin foam tape for dimension with additional flowers on two corners as the  embellishments shown on sketch.

Sketch didn't require a sentiment but one was added in the bottom right-hand corner using Melon cardstock and stamped with Nutmeg ink. This was a big challenge to get all the ingredients in from the four challenges, many cuts, replacing and removing pieces, until it finally came together... and I'm so happy with it, hope you enjoy this card too.

Inside of Card:  Used the outer frame, which would have gone in stash, adhered to the inside card base and stamped a sentiment in frame.  Stamped some flowers on white cardstock, used the background elements with closest row one colors and adhered under the frame, some fussy-cut on top of flowers and adhered to the frame bottom leaving space on bottom for personal note.

Please stop by and have some fun with our Double Trouble challenge and check out to see what our Team Members and Entrants have created.  Don't forget to check out our collaborating partner at Farm Quest and see their Design Team members' and entrants' projects.  Hope to see you there!

Suzanne: This is 'sow' adorable!!! Your card is making me squeal with delight! It's amazing that between the 2 DT crews there are no duplicate pig images/stamps!!! Even the wood usages are different! Such great farm and country charm in your card! Thanks for giving FQCB this opportunity to partner with DTCB! --Becca

Oh my goodness! I love that pig--it is so very cute! What a wonderful card--I love how you were able to make so many different challenges work so well together. I can also only imagine how tired your eyes and fingers were after all of that fussy cutting! Thank you for joining us for this challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday and look forward to seeing you again soon!
