This is my Design Team card for Double Trouble Challenge #142 "Christmas in July" partnering with with Jingle Belles Challenge "Stripes/Stars".
Still feeling the heat of Summer in Arizona I linked HERE to listen to Christmas Carols as I was going through my stash of 6 x 6 christmas papers. Found a patterned paper with Santa going down a chimmey on the corner of a striped paper... which could be a card for Jingle Belles Challenges of "stripes and/or stars" or "Santa's Hat". Since the stripes were more noticeable and the brick also appears as stripes the deciding factor was to enter in "Stripes/Stars".
Using two of the same patterned paper with Santa, one sheet was diagonally cut and adhered to the brick background. The second sheet... fussy cut Santa, deer and sleigh, the house top and layered each piece on top of the diagonal sheet with 3D thin foam tape for dimension. In the same paper pack there was a square sentiment which again fussy-cut around the words and adhered directly to the brick patterned paper. I was pleased with the vintage look of this card, hope you are too.
The same brick patterned paper was adhered to the border on the inside of the card and photo taken to show the dimension of Santa and his reindeer on the roof top.
