Create Your Own Magic - Double Trouble Challenge #79 "A Magical Day"

This is my Design Team Card for Double Trouble Challenge #79 "A Magical Day" partnering with Dies R Us, using at least one steel die.  I was also able to include this in ColorMyHeart Color Dare's Challenge #435 "Green + 1 Color... I chose blue as my additional color.

Before the Pandemic I attended many of the Copic classes offered at our local scrapbook store given by Jennifer Dove. I knew the magic I wanted to create so went to my Copic cards that were not completed and chose one of the Wizard cards.  Her kits include all the pieces for her design... however I like to make it my own layout and choose only to use some of the items so that it's not the same as those attending the class.

The Wizard frame was cut using a Square Stiched Die.  I needed to complete the coloring of the frame and wizard, and then choose some patterned paper and embellishments. In CTMH Mix-In I found a perfect green plaid match for my background and layered it on black cardstock, added the stars and sentiment and done.  I have two more wizards that I need to complete so you may see them later this year.

At Double Trouble Our Things 1, 2 and 3 sure bring on some wierd combinations but I like to challenge them all; however, you have the flexibility of doing just Thing 1 "A Magical Day" and be eligible for our random draw.

For those that really like more of a challenge may want to include Twisted Sister's optional twist and/or enter at our partner's challenge if you have met their requirement... and you will be rewarded additional chances for the random draw. Please join us at Double Trouble Challenges.

Please check the ColorMyHeart Color Dare Challenge #345  for their DT inspiration and other entrants to their challenge too.

I love that you chose blue to go with your green Suzanne, one of my favourite colour combinations! The wizard image is beautifully coloured and I love the appropriate sentiment. Vicky x
