You Are My Happy - Color Dare #318

This is my DT card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare using alcohol inks dropped onto paper and repeating several times until the full 4 x 5 was full of color (photo shown below).  I've had this background for a few weeks and the colors were a pretty good match to some of the colors in the TicTacToe Challenge.  The only problem being it wasn't in a row, column or diagonal; so needed to add one of two colors to get a TicTacToe and I chose the Diagonal: Pomegranate, Saffron and Glacier, and the NE Ivy was additional from the Board.

We usually use CTMH color names for reference however you can use any product as long as you use "All and Only" the closest matches to colors listed above and neutrals of your choice are free to use. We welcome Stampin' Up and all the other color competitors to join our challenge.

Please stop by and view the DT's inspiration and join us...we would love to see the projects you create. This Color Dare Challenge will be open for (2) weeks AND you still have time to enter in our previous Color Dare #317 Click Here.

Didn't want to cover a lot of the design with other papers and so decided to use a new die "large ringlets" and have that as my total focal point.  Cut a second in Espresso to use as the outlines of the ringlets and pieced all the negative pieces of color into the outlines.  I wasn't happy with the contrast so adhered the original die cut from my alcohol ink background and glued on top of the Espresso.  This gave it more dimension and that made me happy.

Cut two stitched circles in Saffron and Fern, stamped in the sentiment, added versa mark to the circles, heat embossed with clear embossing powder (this gave it a similar texture to the ringlets) and adhered with thin foam tape.

This was my original background paper made from several drops of alcohol inks as a Make and Take Kim had at Our Creative Escape during Kathy Racoosin Road Trip Event.
