Heart2Heart "Mother's Day" combined with MFT Card Challenge #382 It appears the simpler the sketch...it's confirmed I make more cuts and changes in creating my cards but my post only shows the in between processes that complete my card. At the bottom of this post I want to share with you "Miss Carrie's 10 Weird Habits in scrapbooking".
Chose one of my favorite retired papers "Charlotte" for which I had lots of scraps to play along with. Cut several background papers and die cut several circle frames and started juggling them around. After my design paper panels were chosen the focal point was put together using both the negative and positive die cuts with a shadow. Additional flowers were fussy-cut from the design paper packet and layered on the floral design paper. Stamped the sentiment on the square panel, added some embellishments in the corner and center of one of the flowers. Used sentiment of "It's Your Day" to make it generic for Birthdays, Anniversaries, and other special days.
Hop on by Heart2Heart for this week's theme "Mother's Day" and showcase your favorite project and you have until the end of the month to create and submit. Earn a Perfect Attendance Badge if you create a card for each weekly theme during that month...to view these challenges they are listed on the sidebar at the top of the Blog.

Miss Carrie's Creations Please visit this site and you will definitely relate to Carrie's 10 Weird Habits. Below is a photo of my extra cuts or changes to the card created above and does not include the cuts used on my card, inside and out. My first thought of my card was to use a floral which I had previously colored but after I chose Charlotte design paper this went back into my stash for another time. So my conclusion is that Carrie's not the only Weird Scrapper ... are you a Weird Scrapper too? Let me know in comments.
When I saw this pile of cuts to put back in my stash I decided to do another card and if you click on HERE you will see the card and the dwindling of my extra cuts. This second photo is a tree that is used for my extra die cuts, stamped and digital images, frames, etc...this keeps growing.

Super card, Sue! Charlotte was one of my very favorite paper packs. I don’t even have scraps left! The tree of extra die cuts is a great idea. I put my extras in a small basket near my work space. Thanks for sharing these great ideas with us at Three Amigos!
Beautiful card. Love the feminine colors and papers. Thanks for sharing over at Always Happy Birthday.

Oh, I like this one better! I love the small cluster of flowers at the top of the die cut and the much different pattern behind the round cut as well. It makes the round cut more obvious. Gorgeous card for any special occasion.
This is beautiful! Love how you're using up your extra cuts! Thanks for linking it up to Three Amigos!
