Quad/ATV Birthday Card - SSW2 Top 3 Runner Up

A friend told me about this challenge, and I needed to make a Birthday Card for my Grandson's 15th Birthday...my Grandson wants a Quad for his birthday and this was the closest I could come to giving him a Quad. My card followed the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #49 DeeDee's Digi's.  DeeDee's Digi's did not have a Quad image so I found my image as a coloring page, and downloaded the .png file...this was my first experiment using Digital .png file with Cricut Explore, and my first challenge with Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

The paperpak used on this card is CTMH "Jackson" which includes the printed paper and cardstock, and "Jackson" Complements for the zig-zag border on the bottom of the card.  The circle was cut from Cricut Cartridge "The First Few Years".  The Quad .png file was colored primarily with ShinHan alcohol pens and used watercolor pencils for the Rider's complexion for a more natural look and then fussy-cut. Sequins were added in the upper right-hand corner, liquid glass on the tires, and Wink of Stella on the metal bars of the Quad (does not show up in the picture).  The focal point had several steps of 3D Foam Tape to add dimension to card (picture at bottom).  Please stop over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the Design Team's sketch interpretations and all the other fantastic cards already submitted by Papercrafters.

Fabulous card - love the layering and sponge distressing. The CTMH paper is perfect.I hope that Ethan will appreciate such a special card when he sees the new ATV that his grandparents gave him - RIGHT? ;) I think the image actually looks like Ethan!
