This week I wanted to create a card for Die Cuttin Diva #211 Zoo Awareness using the Sweet Sketch Wednesday #2-51 since there is no particular Sketch required by the Die-Cutting Challenge. This sketch gave me a stepping stone to what I wanted to do for the Zoo challenge. When looking at the different images for a zoo animal it came to mind why not a Tiger, and why not Tigger?
Tigger's Tail looked like a "2" to me so the sentiment had to be "Years Old" which then made it into a Child's Birthday Card...only problem is I don't know any 2-year olds.
After I had my focal point planned out, now I needed some soft and cheerful colors...luv polka-dots and in the CTMH Old PaperPak "Dotty For You" I had all the colors of the rainbow. Wasn't hard to plan out the Sweet Sketch Wednesday in fact almost matching the colors in the sketch.
All the Die-Cuts were from Cricut Design Center...Tigger and Pooh were from "Pooh & Friends" Cartridge. and the Balloon, Oval and sentiment "Years Old" were from CTMH Artiste and Art Philosophy Cartridges.
Now the embellishments....Of course needed some glitter so I cut the balloons out of glitter paper in turquoise and pink. The sentiment replaced the three buttons on the sketch. Used 3D Foam Tape for different levels for dimension on Pooh, Tigger and Baloons. And finally another very old twine-like ribbon product from CTMH Z402 Winter Classic for the yellow ties on the balloons pulling them through Tigger's hand on the die-cut.

Thanks Leslie, my daughter too is a big fan of Winnie the Pooh and Family and she asked me why I didn't make the card for 49?
How perfect for a 2 year old. Wonderful work, and such a fun card. Thanks for joining us this week. Hugs, Heide SSW2-DT
Oh Sue I just love your card, my boys were big fans of Pooh Bear and Tigger. Even today my younger son adores Tigers. I even embroidered their baby blankets on with Pooh and the other with Tigger and friends. I love your card it's totally perfect for any little 2 year old. This is a great card and thanks so much for sharing your talent with us over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week and good luck.
