Color Dare #598 - You Make Me Smile

Here is my DT Card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #598 "Shades of Pink, Green and Yellow" and combining it Try a Sketch On Tuesday #645.  When I went to write my post noticed that the sentiment was in the wrong place and embellishments on the upper r-h corner were missed... so back to my drawing board and here is the second card closer to the TSOT sketch.

Both cards, the circle and background, were cut to approximate size using Mix-In paperpacks in the colors of  green and yellow and pink used in both images. The first card had a flower as the focal point and the second card had a cactus focal point. The same sentiment and pink embellishments were added to both cards.

Here is a photo of the first card made but later added pink embellishments:

On the inside stamped a border of pink flowers on both cards.

Please hop on over and join us at Color Dare's Color Board #598 and check out the Design Teams inspiration, and then let us see what you create... hope to see you there.

You may also like to hop over to Try a Sketch on Tuesday, to see their Design Team members inspiration and see how easy it might be to combine these two challenges.

Super cute cards. Love that you use patterned paper for your die cuts. It's a fun way to add some dimension and the illusion of texture to your card. Thanks for joining us at Try A Sketch on Tuesday.
