This is my Design Team Card for Double Trouble Challenge #99 "It's Up to You" to decide the special event or theme for your project. My Christmas cards aren't done; so I was looking for inspiration at Days of December Calendar for holiday inspiration and to see other events and/or some bizarre and wacky days.
Linking to the calendar I immediately stopped at my Birth date, December 5 "Bathtub Party Day". WOW, wonder what that's all about. So... before walking away from your event date, make sure you click on the link to determine if this is the event you want to celebrate. After reading the celebration below my decision was to make a birthday card for myself.
CELEBRATE December 5 "Bathtub Party Day" today: Draw yourself a bath tub full of warm water. Add a few bath oil beads, and Voila! You're ready to hop in and "soak it" in the bathtub. Ahh, how soothing and relaxing! Don't let anything disturb the peace, quiet, and serenity of your bath. Turn off your cell phone. Put on your favorite CDs to a volume where you can't hear the doorbell ring.
Who would have thought there was a bathtub stamp... went to my newer stash and wallah... a perfect stamp "Believe in Magic". The Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #535 would work well for Twisted Sister's optional ywist to include a number and/or calendar on your project. Now to put all the pieces together.
ColorMyHeart Color Dare #473 "TicTacToe" palette was used and images were colored with a variety of Copic brush pens for closest match to CTMH colors. Images were fussy cut, layered and adhered with 3D thin foam tape to a pretty design sheet from Wonderland paperpack layered with Rosemary cardstock. Used several punches for the different size circles in the upper right-hand corner and the larger was the invite to my Birthday celebration and the two smaller circles with the month and day numbers. Party's still going on!
Thing 1: In December there are holidays, special events, and even bizarre and wacky days. We have decided for this challenge the special event or theme is up to you.
Thing 2: We are happy to partner with The Paper Funday Challenge for the full month of December plus two days.
Please hop on over to Double Trouble, ColorMyHeart Color Dare and Try Stampin' on Tuesday for inspiration from the Design Teams and entrants for each of these challenges.

I don't know where you look for your stamps - a BATHTUB stamp???? Your colouring is terrific and the image really is cute, even if it is in a bathtub...
How cute! And I am surprised that you also were able to use the Color Dare color board. Very humorous card, Sue.
Oh gosh, Suzanne, this is the cutest! Beautiful take on our challenges, and your coloring is perfect on these playful unicorns! Thanks so much for playing at TSOT!
What a fun day to help you celebrate your birthday, Suzanne! The unicorns are adorable, and your use of them off-center along with the number "bubbles" are perfect for Try Stampin' on Tuesday's "off center" sketch challenge! Happy Birthday once again, and thank you for sharing your cute card with us!!! -Donna
Oh My, I don't think there's a cuter cad out there at the minute. Love those laid back unicorns. Thanks for entering your lovely project in our challenge at The Paper Funday! Donna
What a cute card! I guess you are going to have to have a bath every birthday now! And you are amazing that you have your Christmas cards all done!
