Double Trouble - Challenge #3: Thing 1 and Thing 2 decided to take a trip to the Beauty Parlor and get a new "do"...and color it was. We also convinced Twisted Sister in changing her "do" so that we could partner with ColorMyHeart Color Dare #297, and she added an optional twist "String Thing" (twine, ribbon, hemp, leather, etc.) keeping within the color challenge.
Looked through my CTMH Paper Fundamentals and found both the Sorbet and the Glacier colors had the same design papers. Cut the background of each to match up the floral design diagonally, added "String Things" by adhering a brown ribbon across the diagonal.
Fussy-cut the same flower from the opposite colors, distressed with matching ink and adhered the flowers with thin foam sheet. The die sentiment was cut in two colors with the brown as a shadow behind the glacier color. Finished it off with Wink of Stella on the flowers, and liquid glass on each of the small berries on the design paper.
Double Trouble says if you have closely matched up "All and Only" these colors, black and white is always free to use but please Do Not add extra colors. These are CTMH color references, but you are welcome to use any products.

It's amazing how cutting out pieces of patterned paper can lead to such fabulous results. These roses are beautiful on their own and the background paper doesn't compete with them although they are still found there as well. Such a simple idea for a card but such stunning results.
