Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #202: Join us in this week’s challenge combining Colonial White and any 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or all 6 of the following CTMH Browns: Cocoa, Chocolate, Saddle, Cashmere, Champagne and Desert Sand. Look forward to seeing your inspirations for this color challenge. We encourage you to use CTMH products; however you may use any products to participate using closest to colors...and still join in the fun.
I like the challenge of using all the colors; however sometimes found it a little difficult ...but I did it... and also used the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #168, and "Pool or Beach" theme at Bitten By the Bug 2.
The first photo is the Sketch for Atlantic Hearts; but I chose to flip the sketch to allow for my Banner or Beach Sign/Sentiment.
INSPIRATION and MEMORIES: My inspiration came with the colors and memories of family vacations at a Canadian Resort and Lodge with our cottage being right by the Beach. My sister was quite talented in making castles and villages in the sand. She hired my sister and I to fetch pails of water, foliage, stones and sticks and we watched as she put together an amazing village and castle. After the materials used, I have photos of our Cottage and Beach.
There were several die-cuts, some modifed, to give me the focal point of this card, and the beach post, and used an embossing folder to show the folds and color variance in sand.

This is another photo of the beach front but our cottage is in the background.

My Older Sister who was the one that created a sand village each year we went on vacation. Usually it would stay in the sane the week we were there, what happened to it with the next visitors' or rain, unknown to us.
Me and my other sister...servants to gather any foliage, rocks and sticks she needed for her village, and most importantly the many pails of water we had to fetch to keep the sand wet.
