A Budding Friendship - Butterfly and Rose - Color Dare Sapphire Winner

My inspiration for this card came from Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #131.  Since I am still gradually purchasing up-to-date CTMH products, in this challenge I had to use closest colors.  Didn't have any problem with the "Outdoor Denim" ink or paper, those I had...my background used cardstock of that color, and then the stripe is from Paper Fundamentals "Enchantment Assortment".  The Sentiment "A Budding Friendship" was printed with the Outdoor Denim as well.  And White Daisy was used for sentiment background and card glued to Daisy White for the inside of the card.....

Now my real challenge was to come close to the colors of Honey and Sunset...the Flower and the butterfly.  I found some older paper from 2012 "Pemberley" using honey and then fussy-cut the flower and the butterfly from this paper.  Using my CTMH ShinHan colors "Marigold, Carmine, Tender Pink and Golden Yellow"  I blended these colors on my Flower.  I used the same colors for the Butterfly but did not do a  lot of blending so the colors were very close to Honey and Sunset.

The leaves were cut with the Cricut from the cartridge "To the Cabin" using the Paper Fundamentals "Adventure Assortment" cardstock.

Enhancements and Bling:  Although the picture does not show the glitter "The Wink of Stella" was lightly added to the flower, leaves and butterfly.  Several Olive crystals were used for the center of the flower and white pearls for the butterfly body.  The flower, butterfly and sentiment were all were lifted with the thin 3D foam tape.

See the other challenge entries for this Color Dare, and enter the challenge too...I luv the color challenges.

Sue, Your card is so striking in color and design! I especially love the shape of the butterfly with pearls and the crystals in the center of the flower.

Beautiful card! I love how the butterfly just pops off the card and those pearls are a great touch. Thank you for inspiring us at Color My Heart Challenge Blog.

Donna thank you for your compliments. I do have a question that I put on the Comments of the current challenge and also on the Design Team comments; but I have not heard from anyone. I want to submit a second card for this challenge because I used closest colors on this card; but when I went over to my daughters house for scrapping she had all the CTMH colors. I know you have a limitation of three submissions but I believe that is for the same card with other challenges. Please let me know if more than one card is permitted per challenge. Thanks.

Sorry, just read the rules again, it doesn't say anything about only three submissions, but it isn't clear whether we can submit more than one card.
