Bloom Where You're Planted

This card was made for Freshly Made Sketches #179, and believe me it was freshly made...just got in under the wire...PHEW.  My husband says, you have three minutes and I hadn't even taken the picture yet. So, if I was going to put on any more embellishments, that was out. Right after I posted my link, when I came out of the Link "Linkup Closed" was there.  Changed my picture, so more detail of paper would show and colors more actual, and also used Sunflower paper instead of my cricut for the background in my picture.

In reading about the Team Members, I came across another blog "The Paper Players" whereby this card meets their current March 29th Challenge #238 TicTacToe  (Any Shade of Yellow, Die-Cuts and Flowers).

This is my second experiment with SVG Files, a gift certificate I won entering another challenge and purchased at Digiplayground.  The Sunflower A2 size card was just perfect for the focal point of my 5x7 card...

I did two sets of the Sunflowers with CTMH Canary cardstock (distressed with Sunflower Ink) and the other in Paper Fundamentals Autumn Terracotta "Enchantment" (distressed with Autumn Terracotta Ink).  I cut a circle for the center of the Sunflower and added an assortment of small brown round sparkles.  The background was Colonial White cardstock, with a light smack-down, using a borrowed Stamp Set from a Friend (Gina K Stamps "Harvest of Wishes") and stamped with Sunflower and Autumn Terracotta inks.  I went through my friend's one of thousand stamps and found the right sentiment "BLOOM Where you're Plantedt" stamped on cardstock and colored in BLOOM with Golden Yellow ShinHan alcohol pen.  Ran out of time, no other embellishments.
