This is my Design Team project for Double Trouble #211 3-2-1 Recipe "In with the Old, Out with the New" and combining it with our Sister Challenge for inspiration, Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT Sketch #690) which starts on March 3rd. This card will not be entered in TSOT challenge due to the backlinking rule but was my inspiration of combining the two challenges to show how easy it is to participant in both challenges.
I'm pretty sure I have lotsa OLD stuff that can come out of hiding having had been a CTMH consultant. An old patterned paper from Smitten was my pick for the TSOT sketch background and bordered with candy apple cardstock. Well, with my old stash, I came out with a unigue and new card... using the 3-2-1 Recipe 3-layers, 2-Colors and 1 Image, plus enhancements.
And, yes, how many times have you been able to use a piggy stamp. I first went through my binder of previously stamped images and found this adorable piggie uncolored and squealing to be used. Images were colored with Copic sketch brush pens, fussy-cut, and adhered to background using 3D thin foam tape in place of the two octagons in sketch.
A fancy edged heart die was used in place of the square panel. While cruising on internet for piggie puns I came across "You make me happier than a pig in mud"... perfect. However, didn't have a stamp so simply handprinted sentiment on heart using a black pen.
Please hop on over and join us at Double Trouble, have fun with our 3-2-1 Recipe " " and play along with our optional twist and dare while earning additional chances to our random draw. Check out the Design Teams inspirations, optional twists and dare and let us see what you create... hope to see you there.
Then hop on over to our sister challenge,Try a Sketch On Tuesday to check out the Design Teams inspiration, and you may want to consider using their sketch with our 3-2-1 recipe.

What an adorable card for a child, with a really cute sentiment!
So stinkin' cute! Love the arrow background paper to go with the little pig :)
Perfect little pig and the background paper is wonderful used here. Great card for a child.
This is so cute and the sentiment is so funny. I love how you did the pig for the lower shape of the sketch and then the balloon represents the upper shape! Very creative :)
