Challenge #209 3-2-1 Recipe "The Mail Must Go On" - I Love You

This is my Design Team project for Double Trouble #209 using the 3-2-1 Recipe "The Mail Must Go On" and using inspiration from our Sister Challenge, Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT Sketch #688) which starts on February 3rd. My card will not be entered in TSOT challenge due to the backlinking rule but was my inspiration of combining the two challenges to show how easy it is to participant in both challenges.

Don't be confused DTC's 3-2-1 Recipe "The Mail Must Go On" above for a CAS card. 3-Layer ingredient because it simply uses the card base as one layer, a second layer with the color background for Twisted Sister's optional twist and at least one or two die cut for a third layer, or one die and a stamped image. Make sure you look at the ingredient on the post for samples of many 3-layer CAS cards or click HERE.

Used one of the negatives from the heart die cut in the r-h corner of the inside of the card.

Please hop on over and join us at Double Trouble, have fun with our 3-2-1 Recipe "The Mail Must Go On" and play along with our optional twist and dare while earning additional chances to our random draw. Check out the Design Teams inspirations, optional twists and dare and let us see what you create... hope to see you there.

NOTE:  The Craftng Duo, Holly and Sabra, our DTC Guest Designers for this Challenge are offering a second randomly drawn prize. Include a heart, or even a heart word, on your project and be eligible for another random drawing."  Using the TSOT sketch above without changing the shape is perfect to be eligible.

This is a wonderful example of how easily challenges can be combined! I love how you used the TSOT sketch so faithfully while still meeting the Double Trouble 3-2-1 recipe. The clean layering works beautifully, and I especially love the clever use of the heart die-cut negative inside the card—such a smart and thoughtful detail. Beautifully done! Thanks for joining in the Cut It Up! challenge.

Your card is beautiful! I love how you did the shadow on the swirl die using the cream color of the card base. And the colors are amazing.

This is so pretty!! I absolutely love the soft blushy pink for your main color. The flourish being doubled up looks so pretty with the heart and the design is just perfect for the sketch! Clean and simple and beautiful :)
