Color Dare #660

This is my Design Team project for Color Dare #660 and combined it with the Sketch Saturday Challenge #779 and flipping sketch to portrait.  The blend of the Graphic colors is quite pretty; but not sure I got a perfect match with the pinks and oranges.

I made some modification of the horizontal banner and replaced it with the dragonfly stitched trail, and the vertical banner was the same patterned paper as in the circle; placed and lined up with the the oval blossoms.  The dragonfly was cut using the pink patterned paper with another in pink cardstock for a shadow. The sentiment was added in the oval using black ink and on the inside added a strip of the orange patterned paper border with pink cardstock alongside the right-hand border of card base.

Please hop on over and join us at Color Dare's Color Board #660 and check out the Design Teams inspiration, and then let us see what you create... hope to see you there.

If you like to combine additional Challenges... consider hopping over to either Double Trouble "3-2-1 Recipe" and/or our sister challenge Try a Sketch on Tuesday and see how easy it might be to combine one or both challenges with Color Dare.

Nice take on the sketch. The dragonfly die cut is gorgeous.

Great job with pairing our colors and the sketch. So many details working in harmony!
