Color Dare 620 Must Use Mulberry & Sage +1 Color of Choice

Here is my Design Team card for Color Dare #620 combined with Sketch Saturday #760.  In my stash was a paperpack which had the two Must colors (Mulberry and Sage) and Periwinkle which I used as a very close match to Wisteria. I was very selective with the background paper in positioning one of the larger flowers to the top of the sketch.

The background selection was an easy choice; but finding a die for the chevron panel cut puzzled me a bit... I needed a pattern.  So, printed the sketch in A2 size and cut out the larger panel for a close match to the chevron pattern in the sketch. Selected another patterned paper for the larger chevron and then pieced the smaller chevron with a zip strip... I thought perfection to the sketch.

Instead of a circle the dancing butterfly die was cut using Mulberry for the shadow and another pattered paper to adhere loosely over the shadow.

No sentiment was added but my thought was Sweet Memories on the patterened paper could be fitting for a sympathy and/or any occasion card using the inside for a personalized note relative to occasion.  On the inside right-hand border of card base adhered the same chevron patterns from front of card.

Please hop on over and join us at Color Dare's Color Board #620 and check out the Design Teams inspiration, and then let us see what you create... hope to see you there.
