Plant a Tree of Friendship - Double Trouble #125 "Color Theory DTC =C3"

This is my Design Team project for Double Trouble Challenge #125 "Color Theory DTC=C3" shades of yellow, orange, green using Twisted Sister's optional twist to include Sunflower(s), and combined it with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #498.

The Sunflowers were stamped and masked using Saffron ink on the landscape top of a 4" x 5 1/4" White Daisy cardstock. Each flower was sponged with yellows, oranges and then brown in the sunflower centers. The bottom of the same cardstock was blended with the same variety of colors in the sunflowers to mimic the color stripe from the sketch.  The leaf edger was cut using White Daisy cardstock and blended with greens and the bar with a little brown.  The sentiment was stamped on the green bar of the leaf edger with Nutmeg ink and used a torn edge oval in Nutmeg cardstock to frame the sentiment.

Thing 2: Double Dare says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement, and have been inspired by the Inspiration Photo in our partner's challenge, you are eligible to enter your project HERE at Inspiration Station's 'Golden Fields'. In your post please include how their challenge photo may have inspired you."  I was inspired with the colors and the sunflowers.

Inside of card:  On the bottom right-hand corner three sunflowers were stamped, masked and brush sponged with same yellows/oranges.  Happy to be awarded one of the Top 3 for this challenge.

What a beautiful card. I like how you substituted the leaves for the vertical stripes. Thank you for joining us this week at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and look forward to seeing you again soon!
