Double Trouble #100 Special Challenge "Warm & Cozy - Layer Up" partnering with Bitten By the Bug 2

Here is my card for our Special Double Trouble Challenge #100 with lots of Random Draw Prizes.  My Warm and Cozy is a quilted blanket background to cuddle in, and nothing better to awaken to a stack of warm pancakes with warm syrup running down the side to join the sweet berries... am I dreaming?

My New Year's resolution was to use some of the stamps sets in my stash that were never used.  Well, that didn't work out for my first card of 2022 because my friend/neighbor next door had the perfect stamp set that she never used and she invited me to use it, couldn't refuse.

Layering cards is not a problem for me... they are my comfort zone.  I used several scalloped frames and a quilt embossing folder to create my cuddly and warm blanket.  In the photo below you will see the layering of the frames and stack of pancakes... yum.

We are partnering with Bitten By The Bug 2, a challenge that usually requires the inclusion of a cut item from a Cricut machine.  However, we CUT a Die'al with them. For this challenge, our partner is accepting the use of cut items from punches, dies, and any cutting machine, but NO fussy-cutting! Enter the Bitten by The Bug 2 Challenge for an extra chance in our usual random draw prize."

Thing 1 Prize:  Trouble Maker (Me)
I'm offering a Special Prize if you have included two or more layers on your project.

Great way to use lots of layers and I love the concept of a quilt to cuddle up. Pancakes are most definitely a comfort food!

Perfect layering, for the papers and the stack of pancakes! Great sentiment to go with them too.

I love using layers on my cards as well, so will definitely be joining in with this challenge. Layers and winter go perfectly together, after all. Those pancakes look so yummy that I may have to make up a batch for breakfast myself tomorrow morning!

I love quilts and that embossing really compliments the image.

Oooh yummy card, Suzanne! In so many ways. Love the texture of the BG embossing folder. The lacey scallop borders are so pretty. The dimension is great to make it look like the pancakes are real and colored so perfectly they look good enough to eat right now!

What a delicious looking dish here, Suzanne -- and, I'd say give yourself TWO points for using your neighbor's image and not yours -- after all, you've got the whole year ahead of you to put yours to use! And, loan one of yours to your neighbor if you really want to call it even - hahaha. Have a happy crafty 2022.

Congratulations on Challenge #100. What an amazing thing!
I like using layers on my card so that was not a problem for me. I have at least 3...more in a few areas. :)
