2021 Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop

Day 3 - 2021 Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop

My card was created using the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #351 with an optional twist for vintage or modern, choosing Vintage.

Normally my comfort zone is not vintage but while going through my coffee stash found a 3D Push Out vintage look Teapot which could be used for the circle in the sketch.  The doily was cut using vellum for another vintage look.  The teapot included three layers... the first layer was placed on the doily, and the next two layers were adhered with 3D thin foam tape for dimension.

Now for the vintage background.  Again, from my stash I knew I had several 6 x 6 vintage paper packets that were gathering dust... all that needed to be done was to find papers that complemented my 3D teapot.  Cut the required panels, brushed the edges with Heather ink, and adhered to card base.  The one panel was cut using a border die.  Stamped the sentiment in the bottom right-hand corner and then adhered the assembled doily with teapot  on the scalloped panel.

So pretty, Suzanne! Love the vintage look. The vellum doily really does a great job of "grounding" your teapot. Thank you for partnering with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday and sharing your "tea-riffic" card!!! -Donna

What a beautiful, cozy card! I love tea so that's always a good thing on a card :) And despite you are not a vintage cardmaking person, it's a great take on the sketch and very vintage. Thank you for joining us at TSOT! Marjolein
