This is my Design Team card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #452 "Triple Play" using all three colors, along with the Black, White and Silver free and combined it with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #428.
Totally had no idea what I was going to create... started by cutting some grass dies in the three colors and used the negative for each of the three colors to complete the panels. Each set was taped in the back, cut 1" wide, layered with black cardstock and adhered to a piece of 4"x5 1/4" white cardstock. It was then that I decided to change the sketch to landscape because I preferred the flow of the design.
My daughter had given me a couple stamps of fun birds... colored them with closest match... my yellow/red bird was the choice for the front of the card but I put the other fun bird (glacier) on the inside border.
Both of the birds were layered with black and adhered to card. Used another die to cut the sentiment in Candy Apple and shadowed with black. Small silver gems were added to the feathers of the bird and also to the background in the upper r-h corner of card.
The finished 4"x5 1/4" was layered with black cardstock, adhered and then adhered to the A2 card base.
