Color Dare #380 - Hello

Here is my DT card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #406 using the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #380.  Knew the flower that I wanted to use and rather than using black as a silhouette it was stamped with sapphire ink on white cardstock.  Fussy-cut the flower on the edge of one side and layered with sapphire cardstock.

Decided to use a sapphire design paper for the background and then other design papers in Smoothie and Peach, all layered with white cardstock and placed on background paper and cardbase.  Completed card with two cuts of an oval die, layered and sentiment stamped with sapphire ink.

Please pop over to ColorMyHeart Color Dare and Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge to see DT members' inspiration, along with other participants that have entered this challenge.

Color My Heart Color Dare challenges are carried forward for two weeks so if you didn't share your project the first week you still have another week to enter that challenge...current challenges are on the side bar of the blog.

I love the sapphire blue color. Lovely card. Great job fussy cutting. That is one thing I don't do well. I've actually messed up cards before. I zigged when I should have zagged. [Bunny]

Beautiful! I love the silhoutte of the flower and how you fussy cut around the flower head and leaf. the layers are beautiful in the colors, too.

I love how you fussy cut around the flower and still had it fit in the square but overlapping too. Great colours and I love your choice of patterned paper. Great Colour Dare Challenge card and you hit the card sketch perfectly too.

Those colours are great together. I love how you have partially cut out the flower, it really adds interest to the overall design xx
