Double Trouble Challenge #45 partners with Color Dare #374

This is my second card for our Double Trouble Challenge #45 and partnering with ColorMyHeart Color Dare #374.

Back awhile ago at our local Little Crop Group gatherings we have many background papers...don't remember which technique this was; however, I do know the techniques were very messy (shaving cream or jel press). I have had these in my stash for a long time and periodically go through them...this one intrigued me. Three Colors were added to a printed magazine page (red, yellow and green) which met the requirement of Color Dare and perfect for my dragonfly border die which was purchased some time ago.

The dragonfly was cut from my background technique, adhered to black cardstock and then fussy-cut around the die cut image. Double Trouble's requirement was to use a stripe and if you chose to use a black and white you are awarded another chance for their random draw. No sentiment was added because I felt the note inside would determine the occasion it was made for.

Please visit Color Dare and Double Trouble and see DT members' inspiration, along with other participants who have entered these challenges and join us in this fun color challenge. This partnering challenge is open from Friday, December 13th through December 29th.
