This is my DT card for Double Trouble Challenge #31 "Dry/Heat Embossing" and partnering with Pile it On Challenge # "Transportation/Vacation/Holiday" theme, using the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch Challenge #412. Decided to use my Cricut Design Space program to put together a beach theme for Vacation/Holiday, Dry Embossing and Twisted Sister's optional twist of a road sign. A lot of piecing together but pleased with the result.
Wasn't quite sure how I was going to work in the embossing; but looked through my folders and found one with long grass that reminded me of the beaches in the Outerbanks, and of course the fences separating properties.
THING 3: Twisted Sister
says, "From Easy Street to Broadway I usually take the scenic route. I always have my GPS so I don't take the wrong road." Include a “sign” on your card that you’d see in your holiday/vacation travels.
This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random prize draw if you include a sign.
THING 2: Double Dare
says, "Pile It On's theory is to create a project using More than One Challenge." So, if you have created a project for our challenge you will have already reached their requirement by entering your project in Pile It On Challenge #155 "Transportation and/or Vacation" theme.
Pile It On - Also submitted to the following challenges: Wasn't quite sure how I was going to work in the embossing; but looked through my folders and found one with long grass that reminded me of the beaches in the Outerbanks, and of course the fences separating properties.
It's a "dry heat" here in Arizona so include dry and/or heat embossing using the bonus theme at Pile It On "Transportation and/or Vacation" themed project. You can stop here and you have already met this challenge so Pile It On.
Or, if you included Twisted Sister's optional twist below you will receive another chance at our random draw.

What an adorable card! Suzanne, thanks so much for your sweet comments you left on my blog. I would have loved to take your suggestion of playing at Double Trouble, but I did try one or two times earlier this year and it just taxes my poor brain too much! Appreciate you thinking of me, though! xoxox
I love that you are always able to combine so many challenges - PILE IT ON!!! I think the inspiration photo looked like an umbrella too...love the wooden beach sign too...so many great details!
Great beach card, Sue! I have a cutter, too, and love the versatility it gives me for custom cuts to add to my cards. Thank you for sharing your card with us at Try Stampin on Tuesday! It reminds me of our trips to the OB as well!!!
