Instead of baking Christmas Cookies for my neighbors this year I decided to make a gift box and put a variety of some of my hand-made cards inside. Here are three of the boxes that I made, and the rest are duplicates of these. Luckily most of my cards have a card base and decorated on the inside so all I need to do is put my handmade signature on the back of each card, and hope they appreciate and have recipients for these cards.
The design papers used were CTMH White Pines, a retired paper pack. Had purchased another packet after the holidays and have periodically used during the last couple of years; however, after making (7) gift boxes it has pretty much depleted my supply, except for zip strips...and I will find a way to use them. Because my cards have a lot of layering I was only able to squeeze in 8-9 cards with envelopes. The Box depth is 1 1/4".
I did make some cookies for our Family and our next door neighbor because she already has a good stash of cards...anise sugar cutouts and almond butter cookies.
