Another Christmas Card using CTMH "Beary Christmas" paperpack, complements and zip strips. The striped design paper was already a choice and the row of Christmas packages in the Complements were just what was needed for the border of the striped design paper, and another background design paper that looked like snow. With these choices the sketch was changed to landscape. A couple more complements (Tree, distressed with Glacier and a Bear holding presents) were placed among the packages.
The sentiment alone probably took twice as long as putting together the whole card...first applied direct to dotted background but it got lost in the heavy snow. Covered my sentiment with a cloud but it didn't cover it all so cut another cloud and layered. Using a cupcake stamp (frosting die) for my clouds, cut and stamped many different ink colors until satisfied with result. Black and Charcoal too dark, Pebble too light, Glacier got lost, and finally Pewter came through...many of these stamped were just layered for dimension. Distressed edges with Glacier ink and adhered with 3D Thin Foam Tape.
My card this week as Design Team Member for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge changing sketch to landscaping. Love to see you at this challenge...you have until Sunday, November 12th to enter your project. The design team reveal for this sketch will be on Wednesday, so be sure to stop by to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team and other entrant inspirations for this challenge.
And stop by every Monday for new sketches. Don't wait for the DT post to create your project...show us up with your artwork.
The inside of the card the Ho Ho Ho Zip Strip was used and an adorable new Little Saint Nick stamp, coloring his hat with a stripe.

Love how you used the line of presents to represent the flowers in the sketch - good thinking. That sentiment is too cute! The bear looks like he can't wait until Christmas morning!
Adorable! Love the presents in place of the flowers and love that cutie pie bear! Thanks for playing along with Three Amigos!
