The Color Challenge was combined with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #147, and the sketch was a bunch of rectangles and squares...how was I going to make this card different than a variety of design papers.
I started by creating the three flowers in the sketch, and another larger flower for the focal point and placed on card. Now what...instead of using design papers I chose to use stamps, rub-ons and complements to create many of the rectangular and square sections. Used the wire fencing stamp directly on the cardstock for the top and bottom square and rectangle sections...used the scalloped complement to break for the next two rectangle sections on the top using the leaves as the divide between the two rectangles...and then used Rub-On Flairs on both sides of the focal point. Mission accomplished.
The flowers were stamped with honey and cranberry, fussy-cut and adhered with 3D Thin Foam Tape. Added a generic sentiment so that the card could be used for a number of occasions.

Even though these colours tend to be very bold in nature, you have managed to keep them soft and subtle - not an easy task. Love the flowers and the flourishes!

Wow, Sue this card is pure eye candy! I see so many lovely details in it!
I never would have thought to stamp the chicken wire with Pear, but it looks great. That's why these color dares are so great, encouraging us to get out of our box. Thanks for the inspiration.
