Snowflakes..Kisses from Heaven

This Christmas card was inspired from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #133, which resembled a window to me, and what better than a shaker card to show off the snowflake sequins from Paper Sweeties, adding an Penguin image that is so comfortable and used to the cold and snow.  Also submitting to "Through this Window" at Heart2Heart.

Did my window first, using a snowflake embossing folder, sponged with a light blue ink, heat embossed to bring out the shine of a snowflake, and before adding to the blue panel placed variety of sequins in each window.  Chose to use darker panels on the outside to frame the window appearing as wallpaper.  Next what to do with the focal point...snowmen or penguin.  I chose the Penguin, added pink to the scarf, shadowed his tummy, and used Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.  The sentiment was from a snowmen stampset.

Hey Sue!

I just wanted to say welcome to The 12 Months of Christmas. Thanks for popping over and leaving a comment. I'm so pleased that you will be joining us in an effort to stay on top of your Christmas card creations. This card is so sweet. I love that penguin and your layout is great too.

I hope that you'll be able to join us again next month and then of course throughout next year. Don't forget that linking up two Christmas cards each month, earns you a free digital paper. Plus if you follow the optional theme each month, as you have done this month, you also have a chance at an additional prize. Welcome and good luck.

Oh and the card just above this one, your Merry Christmas Deer, while it doesn't qualify for the optional prize, if you link it up, you'll be all set with your two cards already for this month to earn your free digi paper. So, think about adding it to the link as well.

See you again soon hopefully!
