Merry Little Christmas

I was working on my ColorMyHeart Color Dare #156 challenge in which I had decided to do a Christmas Challenge with the challenge colors. Only 4 months to Christmas...so thought I better start now to complete all my cards. I had already cut my "Ornament Cascade" from cartridge "CTMH Artbooking" in Cricut Design Space using Paper Fundamentals "Hollyhock." and I had already stamped and colored my elf images, but nothing adhered yet.  Early this morning when I went on Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #122 I thought the Christmas ornaments took the appearance of the sketch and with just a couple changes I could make it work.  I had already flipped horizontally because I wasn't happy with the bold side as ornaments, and then simply cut the ornaments out on the right-side to take on the appearance of the sketch.  Wow, my two favorite challenges coming together again.

Elves are from Stamp Set "Merry Pursuits" and on the elf with the light bulbs I did a technique to reverse/flip horizontally so that I could place it on a hanging ornament.  Since I cut out the ornaments on the right-hand side I decided to add presents behind the elf sitting with the tall present acting as a net to catch the fall of the elf hanging from the ornament.  Colored all stamped images with ShinHan alcohol-based pens, mixing colors to get closest to the Hollyhock, Kraft and Goldrush colors, then fussy-cut and adhered with different thicknesses of 3D Foam Tape for dimension. Stamped Sentiment directly on front of card.

 Color Dare 156: Plus Kraft

The inside of this card was the right-side of my Cricut Cut from the Front of the Card.

Close up of the Elves to show the dimensions in the card.
