Thanks - Color Dare #308

This is my DT card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #308 using the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #279.  Because there were are so many beautiful design papers in the CTMH "Documented" Paper Pack it made it easy to include several of them in this sketch, along with a PML card for my sentiment focal point.  Fussy cut several of the flowers from the floral design paper and attached with 3D thin foam tape cascading over the sentiment panel for dimension.  The Thanks die from Paper Smooches was a perfect fit for this card.  

We use CTMH color names for reference... however, you are welcome to use any products as long as you match closest to the colors below. New Guidelines on Neutrals: White, Cream, Black, Gray, Kraft and Brown(s) are free to use; however if they are included in the challenge graphic they MUST be used in your creation.  No additional colors except those on the color palette.

On the inside of the card just cut a couple strips of two of the design papers and adhered to the border.

Paw Prints on Your Heart - H2H Aug Week 4

My DT card for Heart2Heart "Sweetness Overload" using the sketch from Try Stampin on Tuesday and the adorable stamp set from Little Acres.  

Don't usually use kraft too much, however, my daughter had used it in one of her cards wherein she had stamped several images, heat embossed in white and then colored...so that's where I started with my design for the background.  

One of my favorite colors is CTMH sweet leaf (green) so went through my design papers, and this design sheet was perfect and went so well against the kraft and die cut a panel with a scalloped edge for the center panel.  Stamped the pair of kitties and then began my coloring on the kraft paper using copic sketch pens in a variety of colors and matching up with the green.  Focal panel and kitties were popped up with 3D thin foam tape.  Done...and I think I just became a lover of kraft cardstock.

Happy Birthday - Double Dare #8

This is my DT card for Double Trouble Challenge #8 "Summer Birthday" celebrations with a lot of glitter for our Twisted Sister. For the next two weeks we are partnering with Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge.  This is a fold card sketch that one of our Crop friend's shared with our group and thought it would be a challenge to make this card using the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #278...and I think it worked.  

  

We lost track of time and Twisted Sister let it be known that we forgot her birthday. Well, in our defense we didn't forget...we just wanted to surprise her with a mile-high cake and many glitter cards with the help of our followers from Double Trouble. Please help us get back in good graces with her because our birthdays are coming up in December.

Challenge #7 - The Dog Days of Summer

This card is for our Double Trouble Challenge #7 - using the Twisted Sister's optional twist to include on your project food or beverage for a summer day and pairing up with HeARTful Stamping Challenge "Dog Days of Summer".  

The Ice Cream truck was stamped, fussy-cut and pieced with some of the other design papers, layered and adhered with 3D thin foam tape.  Doggie was colored and adhered with 3D thin foam tape.  The sentiment was stamped on black, heat embossed with white powder, framed with red and scattered and adhered to background paper.

You Lift Me Up - H2H - Aug Week 2

This week Heart2Heart is challenging you to show us your layers...whether that be layered paper, stamps, embellishments...the FUN thing about challenges is that YOU get to call the shots so show us what you got!

Using some of the zip strips and design papers, cut in 1/2" and 1" strips were adhered on Gypsy cardstock and then adhered to the white card base.  This must have been one of my favorite paper packs at the time because I only have scraps left over...but still enough to do a similar card.  The adorable bunny was another of my copic class images which was colored, fussy-cut and adhered with thin foam sheet to a frame of gypsy.  The second cloud on image was fussy-cut and adhered with thin foam tape.  

The sentiment was hand-printed on one of the tags from the Kaleidoscope Complements.  

Just added a border of one of the design papers to the inside of the card.
