Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #229: This week’s colors shown in the Photo are Pansy, Raspberry, White Daisy, Black and Silver (All and Only). We encourage you to use CTMH products; however you may use any products to participate using closest to colors ... join in the fun.
You don't need a blog to submit your entry...if you are a member of Pinterest you can set up a Folder and link your entry to our Challenge. You have until Thursday, February 9th to enter your project...can't believe we are into February already.
At a crop this weekend, one of the girls showed us a technique using tinfoil for a die cut ... and since this week's challenge was silver it made sense to use tinfoil. Recently got a new die and since it had a lot of embossing and cuts it was what I was I wanted for a focal point. Didn't have a sketch challenge in mind and wasn't sure of the colors mixing so made my own design and set the pansy apart from the raspberry with silver glimmer tape. My husband would call these colors gaudy (but what does he know...lol). I'm happy with it. The inside was bordered with the Pansy Fundamental Paper.

WOW! I love your focal flower and cant believe that is tinfoil, so cool!
I love what you did with the tin foil! Coloring the piece with alcohol markers really made it pop. Wonderful card design too. Thanks for inspiring me yet again!

Love that foil center piece. And so much for a man's opinion of colour schemes... goes to show you how much they know! Your card is beautiful and that focal point brings it all together.
