You're One of a Kind

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #196Join us in this week’s challenge combining the colors, Pear, Lagoon, Honey, Cotton Candy, Black, and White Daisy (all and only) until Thursday, June 9, 2016 to create and link up your project. These colors are all in "Calypso" ...look forward to seeing your inspirations for this color challenge. We encourage you to use CTMH products; however you may use any products to participate using closest to colors...and still join in the fun.

Normally I would take the easy way out and choose the paperpak which includes all the colors; but I wanted to work with the Hibiscus Flowers Stamp Set.  Flowers/leaves stamped black on white card stock, masking as each flower and leave were added.  Water-colored the strip of 4 flowers with the Inks in each of the required colors (Lagoon, Pear and Cotton Candy) except for center of flower colored with ShinHan pen, fussy-cut around the full floral and adhered with 3D Regular Foam Tape to the Black Panel.

Stamped with Lagoon Ink another flower, colored center only with a ShinHan pen, fussy-cut and adhered with 3D Thin Foam Tape behind the main colored floral.  Thus, the sentiment "You're One of a Kind."  Added the white bead flair and pink tiny crystals. Attached the black panel to a Daisy White card.

Flowers were added to the inside right-hand corner, and space left for a personal note to recipient.

Sue, you KNOW how I feel about this card... the most GORGEOUS card I have seen to date anywhere! I love everything about this - the black background that makes those flowers jump off the paper, the exquisite colouring and choice of placement of each of the flowers, the sentiment that fits so perfectly with the one flower that looks simply outlined... the bling adds the final touch. This is so incredibly well thought out that I want to CASE it and frame it. Without question, this is going to become my computer screen background for the next while. Congratulations - you just blew me away with your creativity on this one! FAB-U-LOUS!!
