All the Goodness of Life is in a Cup

Day 7:  This card was made for the Holiday Coffee Lovers BlogHop combined with ColorMyHeart Color Dare Challenge #172 using the CTMH Colors in the White Pines PaperPak, a favorite Christmas Design paper of mine.

Christmas isn't much different here in Arizona...just that we have rays of sunshine coming down instead of snowflakes.  Although my daughter-in-law took a picture of snow a day ago and their ground had a layer of snow on it and they are only 3 miles from us.  We may have gotten it too; but I had my head buried in card making and drinking (coffee that is) and planning on what my next card was going to be.

Well here it is, A Christmas Card from Arizona (the desert).  I borrowed this cactus arrangement from my neighbor "Potted" by Waffle Flower.  Stamped, colored with ShinHan alcohol-base pens, and then fussy-cut, cutting off the pot at the bottom of the image, and replaced it with a stamp "Coffee First" Create a Smile.  I believe the smaller cup was a freebie digi image from Verve, and the sentiment was from Verve Stamps "Delightful & Delicious"  (not sure of the name of the company hat offered this freebie;) but will have to share when my home computer is fixed because it's not on my laptop...darn technology.

Well, I'm up to here on the BlogHop. The cactus theme was used because we reside in Arizona, and thought I would show a little bit of Arizona in a Christmas card.

Love how you replaced the pot on the stamp set with a cup. Great coloring. We love our Arizona cactus flowers and here you've created a cup full of them!

We have kids living in Phoenix, and they love the no-snow winters. Though they do come home for the holidays now and again. This is a sweet cacti arrangement in that sweet little teacup. Lovely coloring too. This is a darling card. Bev
