Happy Easter Tri-Fold/Swing Card

My first Tri-Fold or Swing Card.  I used this type of Card to see what I could do to interpret the Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge #98 on the front of the card...I think I was successful.  And then when card opened to the inside it also took on the Sketch.  The Card was from CTMH Artfully Sent "Flower Sent Card", and all the cardstock and paper used was from CTMH Hopscotch PaperPak...

The small cuttings from the border were added to the Sentiment to appear as stitching, and the holes from the flowers on the corners. In the left-hand corner I cut out some of the designs from one of the papers and raised them with 3D Thin foam tape and added a Hopscotch button and a little bling around the center of the flower.  Sentiment from Stamp Set "Just to Say" Cricut Collection.

When card is opened,,,out pops another flower with bling and a butterfly, and simililar Atlantic Hearts Sketch interpretations are on both the left and right of the inside.  Butterfly was cut previously from "Florals Embellished" Cricut Cartridge. Wow...three sketches in one card, wasn't intentional just turned out that way.    Go to Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge to see other original cards submitted.

I learned through this process I don't want to use a cut-out with holes in the design, to-toooo much work trying to improvise the final appearance of the card.  But I will attempt another Tri-Fold or Swing Card.

  2. I love the cutout...it provides just the perfect detail. The "stitching" around the sentiment is spot on!
